I think I saw a commercial for that on TV... I'll have to take my big cup o change over there when I get a chance.

I did a search and there are no machines in my area that do the giftcards... but there are a couple that will do eCertificates for amazon.com

I am always trying to find a place to dump my change. I think this is another gift I have taken care of.

I always use coinstar but usually get the cash (which they charge a fee for). I did a search and the machines near me only do amazon.com eCetificates. That's alright, Christmas is coming so I can put it to good use. I have a big jar of change sitting in my bedroom right now as a matter of fact! lol

I use coinstar and get cash only. I just checked the list and there is one place about 1.-- miles from where I live that gives the gift cards. I'm wondering if the m/c gift card charges a fee.

There are very few Coinstar machines that offer the "prepaid gift cards" to places like Borders or Starbucks. I emailed them about this and they said, at least in my area, they weren't going to make them available any time soon. But many locations offer the Amazon.com ecertificate.

I have a coinstar in my town, but according to the search, it doesn't give e-certificates. Oh well, I guess I'll stick with my bank that does it free. (Commerce) rather than drive the 5 miles to the closest one that gives certificates.

According to the website, the m/c has big time fees. $9.95 fee for a first time card and $4.95 fee to reload.
