EYGLE Posted November 9, 2005 Posted November 9, 2005 Last year Target offered a wake up call from a choice of I think 3 celebrities. I wonder if they will do something similiar this year?
Heather78 Posted November 9, 2005 Posted November 9, 2005 interesting, if yo ufind out let me know! thank you!
Kingfalcon Posted November 9, 2005 Posted November 9, 2005 I got my call from Darth Vader last year :)
sperdue Posted November 9, 2005 Posted November 9, 2005 That's awesome!!!!! I didn't know they did that. I definitely need it. I'm always the one skirting in the parking lot of my first store at exactly 59 seconds before they open! If you hear anything of it this year, please let us know.
Aaron Posted November 9, 2005 Posted November 9, 2005 http://wakeup.target.com is the address. It looks like they are doing this again this year, or they are still showing the ones from last year.

sperdue Posted November 9, 2005 Posted November 9, 2005 Dog gone it! The earliest they will call is 4 am. I need to be at compusa before then so I can be at walmart at 4.30!!!!!
shopping mom Posted November 9, 2005 Posted November 9, 2005 Since Walmart's sale starts at 5 I don't think I'll need a call. I am just going to stay up and go really really early to price match and then get in line for the CPB.
BrandyJervas Posted November 9, 2005 Posted November 9, 2005 Hubby would love a call from Darth Vadar but I'd be mad if my kids got woke up if it wasn't necessary. But a 4am call wouldn't doo me any good anyway and target is too far for me to go from my little central area.

I'm a night owl anyway, BUT I'd be a hot mess come 10am or so. Think I need at least a little shut eye!
Daisimae Posted November 9, 2005 Posted November 9, 2005 Those calls were a waste of time for me. By the time they got around to calling, I was in my car sitting in front of Circuit City.
Booterbunz Posted November 9, 2005 Posted November 9, 2005 LOL I got a wake up call last year from Cheech! I don't know if it was from Target or not, can't remember, but it was cool!
erh12275 Posted November 9, 2005 Posted November 9, 2005 I remember those. Too bad they come so late...long gone before then.
ebony0421 Posted November 9, 2005 Posted November 9, 2005 I will probably already be up, but that would be cute.
laffnatu Posted November 9, 2005 Posted November 9, 2005 Unless it's Vin Diesel, The Rock or just someone with a great accent... I won't be and won't need a wakeup call. But IF it's one of them, count me in.
copados1993 Posted November 9, 2005 Posted November 9, 2005 How earlly can you get them to call? I need like 2 :30 in the morning.

orangedaisy Posted November 9, 2005 Posted November 9, 2005 2:30 in the morning? You might as well not even go to bed. I remember them doing this last year.
sperdue Posted November 9, 2005 Posted November 9, 2005 You guys are going to make me stay up all night, aren't you!?! I'm starting to feel like I'm not gonna get anything if I "nap" until 3 am!!
marimacc Posted November 9, 2005 Posted November 9, 2005 Hmmm...this does look different from last year. For instance, I don't remember a "tuck in" call last year, just the wake up calls. Secondly, the choices of callers listed is much smaller; there's Brad Paisley, who I have no idea who that is, grandma, boring guy, harp player and sheep. I don't remember these choices last year. For those of you goign to the Comp USA sale at midnight, you could use a "tuck in" call as a wake up call, since they do have tuck in calls until midnight.
noaimhere Posted November 9, 2005 Posted November 9, 2005 cute idea but I can't do that- it'll wake the kids! NO kids coming w/ me.
tyler99199 Posted November 9, 2005 Posted November 9, 2005 I got my wife as my wake up call. She gets to sleep while I do the shopping.
kfinto65 Posted November 9, 2005 Posted November 9, 2005 http://wakeup.target.com is the address. It looks like they are doing this again this year, or they are still showing the ones from last year.I don't think it is the same as last year as I don't see Lord Vader as one of the choices....
ShawnainKY02 Posted November 9, 2005 Posted November 9, 2005 It asks for time zones when you enter your info. I am not sure what time zones you are in, but couldn't you maybe use the time zones to adjust to get the wake up call you want. Like, I am in EST, so for a 3 am wake up, I would just request a CST 4am wakeup. Does anyone know if this would work?
