poll doesnt have the right answers, you need days not hours listed, if your thinking you can get in line on thanksgiving day and get any of those deals you will be SOL
All depends on where you live. Some people will be able to get in line at 6pm on Thanksgiving and will be able to get these deals.

I won't spend days to save $100 or $200 .. I know lots of you will lol and I admire your grit .. it's just not for me
... would I give up my Thanksgiving or even go late Weds night .. sure prior to that not so much.
what some call "grit" others call insanity. Anyone (other than college kids with nothing better to do) who spends days in line to save anything less than $2000 or more is crazy in my book. Camping should be in the woods, near a stream whilst hunting for Griz, not on the sidewalk while soccer moms walk by with runny-nosed kids in tow gawking. But that's just me.

All depends on your location. I'd say get in line EARLY. If you are not in the first 50 people you don't have much of a chance depending on your location. Minimum : 10 only means they have at least 10, often it's over double that amount. That is an incredible deal, and even though I had no need or intentions of getting the TV, I'd be a fool not to grab a 42" tv for $199. Between that and the tablets (and PROBABLY more online deals posted on the 23rd) I'd expect lines to form earlier than usual (also considering the midnight opening).for those of you interested in the BB deals.... with a $199 42 inch and such on there, how early would you consider getting in line? Just want to see what we're up against lol!

Don't be so sure... some Best Buys are on mall property and do not allow tents or camping out... I've been first or second for the past 6 years and have gotten on line as late as noon on Thanksgiving day 1 year.poll doesnt have the right answers, you need days not hours listed, if your thinking you can get in line on thanksgiving day and get any of those deals you will be SOL

Which completely explains the "Before 4pm" option and doesn't include days or weeks, lol. For years I had my location on my profile as "Confidential". This year I decided to play around and risk it a bit by putting just my state, which has about 70 Best Buys with 50 miles of the state borders which I'll let people guess at my location, lol. I found a little known location in the middle of nowhere (except my house, lol) that people don't often go too early and the mall does not allow over-nighters with the exception of Thursday night for a BF opening. I have tried going on Wednesday night and was threatened with arrest for trespassing, I have arrived at 6am Thursday and also gotten threatened, only to return at 7am and get threatened again, returned at 8am to see they let someone else on line first, and thus I was second that year, breaking my streak. Still got everything I wanted, but no picture in the newspaper, no interview with the reporters, and a broken streak. This year I intend to bring some ammunition.... last years paper showing I was first and promise not to leave any mess so they allow me to stay earlier than they normally would have allowed. I have found in the past by showing respect and cleaning up after yourself (which we always do in my group... including cleaning some stuff near us that wasn't us) they treat you much nicer and might be more willing to work with you.You guys crack me up! Arrival times, especially now that the good ad is upon us is strictly confidential!

I personally see no purpose getting there late to stand in line for 2 hours for leftovers. If I'm not one of the first in the store I won't go later in the day. That's one thing BB is known for, long lines in every department... and the foolish thing is BB does half of it to themselves by making people stand on a line in each area for the tickets. This year I want a camera, a tablet, laptops, and tv.. That's 3 lines MINIMUM... tv dept, camera dept, and computer dept. I'd swear BB gets off on watching the customers get agrivated by having them stand in multiple lines, even if they are the first in line, it's impossible for me to get out in under 5 hours unless I have a team with me to hold spots on each line.I've always wondered if people line up in my home town, we're always in Massachusetts so I've never seen NE PA black friday crowds. I can't imagine there are many where I live
We'll probably go out in the morning pick over whats left!

You need teenaged kids taz. I have two and they're great for getting extra tickets, holding places in line and basically cutting time at the store down by half or more. At least two of those $179 laptops are coming home with me if I end up going to BB and probably at least a couple of those tablets (one each of the Asus and Toshiba or maybe two of the Asus). With WM and Target being such a disappointment this year, the wife is trying to coax me to BB. As much as I hate BB, I'm considering it. This is their best ad in a while and the best IMO of the lot this year (still waiting for Sears electronics and tools). Good luck

I was told by a friend that our local (only plaza) Best Buy plaza is NOT allowing people to line up. She said they are closing the plaza at 6pm T-day Eve and the lots are not opening up until 11pm. She was told this by a friend who works at a Michaels in the same plaza. There will be cops at the entrance and cars will not be allowed to line up along the road either. Too many issues last few years according to her sources.
And this is going to solve what? It's going to be a crazy rush to get parked and in line at 11. Can you park elsewhere and walk to the plaza? For the $199 tv that wouldn't be out of the question for many.
