Hoping to see an ad soon...even if it is for a hardware store...lol!

I was able to buy it on Amazon. Haven't had the opportunity to use it yet, but the reviews were great. People said it was much better than the extracts that you buy at the grocery store.

Has anyone tried vanilla bean paste instead of vanilla extract? I bought some but have not used it yet. I saw it in the Hallmark movie "Matchmaker Santa" and it got good reviews on Amazon.

Sometimes we get an early one - True Value or Harbor Freight. Doesn't matter. I'll take a look.

Go to QVC.com. They have all kinds of options that you can get 5 or 6 items for a minimal amount - Valerie's candles, Mr. Christmas has nice music boxes, also Mrs. Prindible's apples. Yummy!

I take the Wednesday before off to bake, prep and clean. My husband's family arrives from out of town on Thanksgiving Day. Thanksgiving morning I get my newspaper with all the ads. I cook for 10 and have dessert for 20-25. I prepare a breakfast casserole for Friday morning for my company and my mother in law puts it in the oven Friday morning. After dinner I actually have time to look at the ads. My neice and nephew stay overnight so we plan our shpping trip and try to get a few hours of sleep. Last year I was at TRU at midnight. I won't do that again. Can't enjoy shopping on 2 hours of sleep. I look forward to this tiring routine every year. :) Then, time to put up the tree...

I've been thinking about Black Friday for a while. For me it is the start of the Christmas season. The Holiday goes by too quickly and I want to enjoy it as much as possible. I have a few gifts bought and wrapped already. Also been watching a few movies. I bought a Lenox Cristmas Tree from QVC during Christmas in July. It is beautiful. I decided to keep it in my curio cabinet year round. Love it! Black Friday is 110 days from today :)
