nat1jen Posted October 29, 2011 Posted October 29, 2011 This explains my email that I received from HP yesterday explaining that they would not have any more touchpad inventory. They inferred that some retailers might have the inventory, but they did not mention which retailers.
peppysfireball Posted October 29, 2011 Posted October 29, 2011 Kind of shady that they are selling it for the same price HP dropped it to. I'm glad I have a Fire ordered.
bigjimslade Posted October 30, 2011 Author Posted October 30, 2011 Yes it is. Best Buy sent out the press release Is this for real?
amickeyfan Posted November 1, 2011 Posted November 1, 2011 I guess that means on Black Friday they will go for less than half, they will limit one per person and cause bedlem in the stores....
AndreaInNC Posted November 1, 2011 Posted November 1, 2011 Kind of shady that they are selling it for the same price HP dropped it to. I'm glad I have a Fire ordered.I would think they would have to just to keep the people happy who paid the $149 for it originally. You can buy one outright, but the price is back up to the original $599.00 price. They have a huge disclaimer up now that if you return the computer and don't return the tablet, you won't get all of your money back on the computer as the tablet price will revert back to $599.
nebraskared Posted November 15, 2011 Posted November 15, 2011 Office Depot are doing the same thing on Black Friday. It will be chaotic. http://blackfriday.gottadeal.com/BlackFridayScans/OfficeDepot
