  1. I am normally a fan of Walmart. Having been stung twice recently by their local stores "dubious" practices, I am less inclined to shop there, but, with prices the way they are, you often have little choice. I am sure not all the stores are as bad as my 2 local WM Superstores and that a lot of the employees do a great job for little reward . I just wish their corporate people had a bit more backbone and would take a dim view of what goes on at so many WM locations.
  2. This is the same Walmart that cannot even honor its own ads. "Sale starts at 8am" Unless you are an employee, friend of employee, or, know one of the many idiotic employees. Walmart's motto should be "nobody screws us over until we've finished doing a whole bunch of screwing over legitimate customers."
  3. Sadly, Walmart has no incentive to do anything to improve their customer service when it comes to these sales and how badly they are handled. There appears to be no accountability at any level of this company as a few disgruntled customers is just a part of doing business for this mega company.
  4. As usual, walmart is a waste of time. Got to my local store, was told they had 4 "left" and I was 4th in line. Then one of the associates calls over and says they only have 3 as someone else had already paid for theirs in advance of the start time. All this happened before the 8am start time. When I spoke to an assistant manager I was told there had been a mistake by an associate and I was out of luck. Calling their corporate office was also a huge waste of time as they appeared not to be bothered in any way by this screw up. They did say that the store was given a minimum of 10 TV's, so what happened to the other 6 is anybody's guess. I have to say that I am not surprised. I would imagine this will be happening all over the place.
  5. Ruby Tuesday Buy $50 get a $15 gift card Buy $25 get a $5 gift card Bonus cards start 2/2/15 and expire 2/28/15
  6. I have a Lenovo K1 and I love it, I can read anything and the wifi connection is great. Got a bluetooth stereo headset and I can block out the world when reading and listening to tunes. I hardly bother with the laptop anymore.
  7. I have 3 or 4 employees at my local store that I "use" for deals. As long as it's not booze or really high priced electronics, they don't raise an eyebrow for a price match.
  8. Just look for the most bored and disinterested Walmart employee, there'll be lots of them. Most don't care as long as the override is not above their limit. If it is over the limit go to the store when it's really busy as the "bosses" will just authorize it if they have to.
