agusia Posted November 6, 2005 Posted November 6, 2005 The first thing my 5yr old son put on his christmas list was the Imaginext T-Rex Mountain, he loves dinosaurs. I just got it yesterday at TRU is $29.99 minus $5.00 coupon goes down to $24.99 and it comes with extra figures.
dealluvr Posted November 6, 2005 Posted November 6, 2005 my son had fun with magnetix.kind of a cross between legos and tinker toys. also bionicles if you got him the whole set with every character would be cool.each set is about 6 dollars.my son liked them til he was like 12 or something
heavenlysshine Posted November 6, 2005 Posted November 6, 2005 At K-Mart: The Batman Laptop computers are 39.99 The Hot Wheels Gorilla Attack is 34.99 At Toys-R-Us: Disney Scene-It is 29.99, then take off $5 coupon found on BF forum At Target: V-Smile TV Learning System 49.99
simonalex Posted November 7, 2005 Author Posted November 7, 2005 Thanks everyone, Will check those. I like the Laptop. He already has the leapster Lmax, so V-smile is not needed. I will check other things that are mentioned in this thread since I have no idea what they are. Thanks a lot and will get back to you. Simonalex
eve Posted November 7, 2005 Posted November 7, 2005 how about a bunch of board games? my cousin loves games
spendhismoney76 Posted November 7, 2005 Posted November 7, 2005 I have a 5 year old son as well & I am planning on getting him one of those learning games for the TV....he has been asking for one for quite some time now & not only is it a learning tool, but also someting fun to occupie him as well. Just a thought!
nellyhill Posted November 7, 2005 Posted November 7, 2005 My son just turned 5. Here is his list of "I want that." Hot Wheels- anything Power Rangers- SPD Morpher, SPD Patrol Cycle, Sword thing (sorry I don't know what it is called), anything else Spiderman- tripple action web blaster, light-up mask, anything else Starwars- built your own light saber, action figures Lincon Logs, Legos, Knex', RC cars, balls (sports stuff) Just remember when buying for a 5 year old.... Its not the amount you spend but how many presents they get.
decafmom Posted November 8, 2005 Posted November 8, 2005 My son who is five loves anything he can build with. I would go for Legos. Oh, and he's not into how many presents he gets. In fact, last year all he wanted for Christmas was a toy mop, a toy broom, and a toy zoo. He's pretty easy to please. :)
heavenlysshine Posted November 8, 2005 Posted November 8, 2005 I'd go for the Bat-Man lap-top or the Disney Scene-It. Look for the Scene-It thread in the regular BF section. TONS of rave reviews for that one. I picked one up for my kids just the other day at TRU and used the $5 coupon which made it only 24.99. ~H~
heavenlysshine Posted November 8, 2005 Posted November 8, 2005 That's so funny, because my six year old daughter asked for a vac last year! I got her one of those push kind that are not electric and it fell apart after like a month, lol. She LOVES to clean (she didn't get it from her mama!) and I think I am going to pick up one of the stick vacs at walmart on BF for her. She will be tickled pink! ~H~ Oh, and he's not into how many presents he gets. In fact, last year all he wanted for Christmas was a toy mop, a toy broom, and a toy zoo. He's pretty easy to please. :)
Kandy Posted November 8, 2005 Posted November 8, 2005 The SP will be on sale at walmart, but add a game and it would be over the price you are looking to spend. The Disney Scene it game , Battleship or even Uno Attack as far as "board games" go. Legos, Power Rangers, Hotwheels, remote control cars
berry Posted November 8, 2005 Posted November 8, 2005 marble run- it's maze of tubes they design the marbles to run down
WELUVKDS79 Posted November 8, 2005 Posted November 8, 2005 Legos, Mini Transformers (that's what I call them), Kenex, Magnetix.....hope that helps:gd_stars:
Jenniferharrison82 Posted November 14, 2005 Posted November 14, 2005 I got my 5 year old nephew a bunch of the fly wheels toys with accesories. He has been flipping for them.
Guest all2tired Posted November 14, 2005 Posted November 14, 2005 They seem to really enjoy RC cars and trucks at that age too. The air hogs zero gravity (goes up walls) is on sale at TRU. Not sure if it's $49 or $59 though. But any RC car or truck should do and you can find some at low prices
