  1. Scalloped corn is a BIG thing that my family always ask's me to make. It is quite easy this is how you make it..... for a large family: PREHEAT oven to 375 degrees - (1) 3 can's of Sweet Kernel Corn (2) 3 can's of Creme Corn (3) 1 1/2 of cut up Velveta (brick) cheese (cut in small pieces) (4) 1 cup of milk (5) Crumble "allmost" to a powdered look of Saltine Crackers , approx. half of a bag.(or use a rolling pin) (6) Mix "all" ingriedents well & put in a oven proof dish & put in oven till cheese is melted or for 15 minutes. AND....WhaLa.... there is a very tasty dish that Im sure the whole family will love, I know that mine does anyway. It is an old recipe from my grandmother.
  2. I have a 5 year old son as well & I am planning on getting him one of those learning games for the TV....he has been asking for one for quite some time now & not only is it a learning tool, but also someting fun to occupie him as well. Just a thought!
  3. I HATE cold weather...BUT I love a white Christmas....after Christmas day...it could all melt & the temp could back up to the 70's or so if it was up to me.
  4. Heck NO it dont make you a nut....I live in Indiana & it is only 50degrees & it is after noon here....You might have givin me a great idea....dunno if my husband will think so...but hey....he wont care if I tell him that he has to do it later in the freezin cold then..... .... You GO GIRL!.....lol
  5. All of my prayers & thoughts are with you & your child so far away from your gentle comforted hands that only a mother has for her child. I also have family there in the war, my brother and 2 cousins as well. We all wish & pray that our loved ones could be here with us for the holidays & true that it will be hard for us & for them as well, but just keep praying and hopefully soon one day, ALL of our loved ones will be close to us again. Sincerely.....spendhismoney76:)
