Peshua Posted November 15, 2005 Posted November 15, 2005 used to get Holiday candies when the kids were little but kind of got away from that would love to find the old ribbon candy have not seen that in years!!
pampam Posted November 17, 2005 Posted November 17, 2005 I love the peppermint sticks that melt in your mouth. They are great in Coffee and CocoaI can never seem to find those when I'm looking for them. One of my favorite treats is to take one of the sticks, sharpen one end sort of like a pencil, and stick it in a lemon or orange. Because this particular type of candy is porous it acts as a straw. The citrus juice mixes with the peppermint and sugar and is yummy.
willandmel Posted November 17, 2005 Posted November 17, 2005 i buy candy all year who needs a holiday. hehehe
juliegirl Posted November 17, 2005 Posted November 17, 2005 I bought a big bag of Christmas M&Ms at Target yesterday. (They were on sale!) I am going to put them out in a bowl for my guests on Christmas Eve. That is, if I don't open them before then!

karatekid39209 Posted November 20, 2005 Posted November 20, 2005 I always get the reeses trees for bowls and the old fashion hard candy in a tin but usually holiday cookies and pies Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
kdickens Posted November 21, 2005 Posted November 21, 2005 I usually spend alot of time making candy around Christmas. Everything from Peanut Butter fudge, Peanut patties, Yum Yum Balls and I take those little bite size nutter butter cookies and dip them in chocolate. The nutter butters and peanut patties are my fav!!! I could eat my weight in those, and unfortunately I usually do!
tootsieroll23 Posted November 21, 2005 Posted November 21, 2005 DH saw the Reeses Christmas Trees while we were out this weekend. He is going to have to wait until they are on sale or Santa brings them. I hate to pay $2.99 for six. Oh well guess he is worth it.
