Tessangel
There are a few things I have seen that I want to get for DH but he will be with me on BF. Does anyone have any sneaky ideas??
floridasun5
Last year dh went with me to Best Buy and I bought his MP3 player while he was there. I sent him to one line to wait for something and I went and grabbed the MP3 player, took it to the register and paid for it while he was still waiting in the other line. Luckily that was small enough that I could fit it in my purse, but if you buy something that isnt small, purchase it and take it out to the car while you send him to another part of the store. Just make sure you tell him to not open the trunk, or cover the stuff with a blanket or something :)

Gumball
Only person I have to shop for is my daughter and she'll be with me. Maybe I can get her to take a nap in the cart?
Kandy
very easy to shop for the DH even if hes with me... when it gets near the checkout time.. he goes off to the Video Games / bathroom gets a drink etc and i've already thrown his gift in the bottom of the basket. AuntJamelle
When DH and I go together we have a standing agreement to respect the other if they state they need some "shopping privacy". We will split up and go through the registers seperately. I make sure that the items are tightly tied up in their bags - doublebagged if necessary. Then I place them in one particular spot so I know which ones DH isn't allowed to touch when we get home. He does the same for me. It's worked so far! Sometimes I'll pretend I am getting him something at a store when I'm really not - just to throw him off the scent of what he's getting.
erh12275
I usually buy his secret presents after BF. The ones I buy on BF is usually ones he requested.
Joanne
Its funny to go Christmas shopping with my parents. We'll meet up later on in the store and Dad will have the ugliest towel or bath rug he can find covering up whatever he's getting that he doesn't want us to see. Then he tells us that the ugly towel is our gift. Of course it isn't, but he tells us that anyway. You have to know my dad to understand his sense of humor. He really is a funny guy! MarkRaby
Why limit it to just DH/DW? My brother's been my BF sidekick for the past 3 years and I usually end up not being able to get anything for him because we always go to the same stores together (1 holds place in line while the other goes out and picks up something). Although, two years ago, he really wanted this cool remote controlled airplane that they had on sale at Radio Shack, so I actually bought it for him right there with him in the store with me, so he knew I was getting it for him, but we still went through the motions (I wrapped it, tagged it, etc) and he acted surprised on Christmas when he opened it. -Mark-
elena_398
I don'tthink I could even pay my husband to go out on BF. He hates crowds and he wouldn't be as patient as I when it comes to parking spots. LOL. Im glad he stays home with the kids. This also always me to finish up his shopping too
