Tessangel Posted October 23, 2005 Posted October 23, 2005 I think they should. Either Coffee or Hot Chocolate!
elena_398 Posted October 23, 2005 Posted October 23, 2005 My target does. While in line, the manager and several employees has coffee and pastries. Yum. I think thats why its so crowded there! They go up and down the line and offer
provresgrp Posted October 23, 2005 Posted October 23, 2005 I think it's an awesome idea! Although it's free, you would still have those idiots that complain that it's too hot, too cold, too strong, whatever.
Gporter34 Posted October 23, 2005 Posted October 23, 2005 They should considering how much we spend in them on BF.lol Our WalMart has a cafe inside and they don't even open it during the morning on BF so coffee and hot drinks are out of the question for us until we get to our third store. Hastings has a cafe and they have the BEST white chocolate mochaccinos. They have become a tradition for us on BF. lol
MarkRaby Posted October 23, 2005 Posted October 23, 2005 Of course, why would I care? I hate coffee -Mark-
elena_398 Posted October 23, 2005 Posted October 23, 2005 I never take the coffee though. it would go right threw me! LOL have to run to the deals, not the bathroom
mjmcca Posted October 23, 2005 Posted October 23, 2005 My target does. While in line, the manager and several employees has coffee and pastries. Yum. I think thats why its so crowded there! They go up and down the line and offerWOW I wanna shop at your Target!
fairydustcrissy Posted October 23, 2005 Posted October 23, 2005 That would be awesome. Most targets have starbucks inside now.....
elena_398 Posted October 23, 2005 Posted October 23, 2005 WOW I wanna shop at your Target! Come on out to the Canton, Ohio Target! the manager is great every year
Guest all2tired Posted October 23, 2005 Posted October 23, 2005 I think they should do at least hot chocolate. Everybody likes HC not everybody likes or can tolerate coffee
f1rstclass Posted October 23, 2005 Posted October 23, 2005 What a way to get people in the holiday spirit by doing that...most of the stores in my area doesn't do that, but would be holidayish if they would. Oh well, for me no time to drink, eat, it's shop shop shop!!
Rebirth Posted October 23, 2005 Posted October 23, 2005 Hey...now, McDonald's, Dunkin Donuts, Starbucks, etc. want to make money too on BF. lol
shorty28792003 Posted October 23, 2005 Posted October 23, 2005 the stores were i live give free coffee and doughnuts at different station through out the stores walmart, kmart and sears all do it. they have people refilling them through out the morning
elena_398 Posted October 23, 2005 Posted October 23, 2005 My Target passes it out just in the morning before the store opens.
Gumball Posted October 23, 2005 Posted October 23, 2005 Target had free coffee here one year but they didn't have it outside (oh no, that would make too much sense) they had it at a table just inside the door. Everybody stopped just as they got to go in and blocked the entrance while they got their coffee & donut. Nobody could get thru for nearly 20 minutes.
Marcster Posted October 23, 2005 Posted October 23, 2005 Three years ago, when I dared Best Buy on BF, they gave out candy in the Camera section.
rkcjwares Posted October 23, 2005 Posted October 23, 2005 Our Toys R Us does as you're in line waiting to check out. Krispy Kremes, coffe, juice... that was the best wait in line ever and people were much nicer!
outnumbered Posted October 23, 2005 Posted October 23, 2005 I think it would be excellent customer service to do that.
genoandkiddo Posted October 23, 2005 Posted October 23, 2005 I can't remember which store it was, but they handed out coffee, HC or Hot Cider. I think it might have been Target. Can't remember.
DaleRider Posted October 23, 2005 Posted October 23, 2005 The Best Buy in Augusta, GA always gives out coffee, donuts (Krispy Kreme of various kinds, including filled), hot chocolate, etc. It's also one of the best I've seen at controlling the line and crowd......
Aaron Posted October 23, 2005 Posted October 23, 2005 It wouldn't be that must of an $$$ if they did, it'd be really nice.
MaddynAllysMom02 Posted October 23, 2005 Posted October 23, 2005 Our TRU always has Krispy Kremes, I dont know about Coffee since i dont like it anyway, but I bet he does give that out too....
jrsgirl8 Posted October 23, 2005 Posted October 23, 2005 A pananara just opened in between out Target and TRU, so hopefully they will at least be opened a 6 this year!!!
nellyhill Posted October 23, 2005 Posted October 23, 2005 I braved the mall last year and the starbucks in the parking lot didn't even open until 6. By then KB was opening. Lots of complaints from the people standing in line.
shanni Posted October 23, 2005 Posted October 23, 2005 When I used to work at Jamesway not only did we hand out hot coffee and hot chocolate, we gave out cookies!
littlezar Posted October 23, 2005 Posted October 23, 2005 When we lived in VA, I think it was Toys R Us that gave out Poptarts one year. I think they might have had juice boxes too.
Postal Phil Posted October 24, 2005 Posted October 24, 2005 I wouldn't mind if they would sell coffee, Hot Chocolate, and pastries to the people in line.
bubbabean Posted October 24, 2005 Posted October 24, 2005 Here in Cincy, a local Best Buy had coffee, hot chocolate and donuts last year.
