Getting that first parking spot at 5 or 6 in the morning is usually ok, but every store after that is all down hill. I have seen more arguments over parking spaces and fender benders on BF than just about any other time :argue_mad . Last year at walmart a nissan pickup completely rams the passanger door of an illegally parked honda and keeps driving:gd_steeri . The door had a serious dent in it. Have you guys seen anything crazy in parking lots on BF.

Yikes! I've never seen anything like that! I get the best parking space around at 4 am, LOL. If I go to other stores after that, I just assume I'm going to have to park on the outskirts of the lot and walk...I don't mind. I can't imagine fighting like that for a parking space when you KNOW you're shopping on the most crowded shopping day of the year.

Nothing to that extent, but plenty of arguing over someone cutting someone off getting a spot. Best Buy is the nightmare store. I usually can't get a spot in their parking lot and instead have to park 3 or so stores down and walk. It gets ugly

I hate people who think they own the parking lot and are in Bf land and don't even watch what they are doing. Just because it's BF dosen't mean you can drive like an idiot. The same thing happens at yardsales. I call it yardsale vision no signal just slam on the brakes park in the middle of the street and get out.

I can not say that I have ever seen anything that bad, but I guess it gets really bad the later in the day it gets. I get to WalMart at 3am and when I am leaving there at 6:15 the lot looks a mess. Then I go to Radio Shack and they have a good parking lot so I am usually close to the door there too. But I heard that about 6:30 or 7:00 WalMart is bad.

I know what you mean, last year I waited for 30 minutes trying to find a parking space. This was at 5:30 AM.

I prefer further out to, or somewhere it is really easy to get out of... and backing in so you don't have to back out of the spot when the rush is on.

It told this story in another thread, but our Best Buy parking lot is crazy!! and one of our local radio stations had a guy come out and stand in one of the spots up front talking on his cell phone, so people were driving around and there were no spots available and there was this guy standing in one on the phone, people were getting ticked off, though those of us up front were entertained by watching him, he's lucky someone didn't run him over.

On BF, I prefer parking further out. Not as much problems than trying to find a close spot.

I do the same thing, that way it is easier for me to get out. It never fails, if I park close to a store on BF it always takes me forever to get out because someone pulls up behind me waiting for my spot but they pull up TOO CLOSE then I can't back out.

I always park so that I can just pull out when leaving. It's too crazy and I usually can't see out of the back of my van when leaving WalMart on BF. I have my stuff, mom's stuff, and aunt's that we have to get her at WalMart. lol

Thankfully I don't go to Best Buy but I saw super target last year, and that parking lot was horrible. I always go for the 1st spot I see, even if it's at the back of the lot..it's just not worth my blood pressure rising to get closer to the door! LOL

Yikes man.

I park as far out as I can the first store so I don;t have to worry about getting out. Then, its whenever and wherever I see a spot.

That sounds like a great plan if you wanna shop in different stores. Saves you time, I guess.
