Thumper501 Posted November 16, 2010 Posted November 16, 2010 They are advertising an LG Blue Ray player for $65. That better then their BF sales. Anyone have any clue what time I should get there by? The sale starts at 6am. Hmm, and how to sneak out of the house and not let the fiancee know what I am heading out so early..... Details: http://www.walmart.com/cp/1082600
UtahHotDeals Posted November 16, 2010 Posted November 16, 2010 I've seen the $65 LG player you're talking about at my store already for sale on a stackbase.
UtahHotDeals Posted November 16, 2010 Posted November 16, 2010 Not sure if it is. I was just walking through the store and saw a whole stackbase of them under a $65.00 sign.
sweetdiggity Posted November 16, 2010 Posted November 16, 2010 Where is this advertised? Right here! Starts tomorrow!!
weenier Posted November 16, 2010 Posted November 16, 2010 gimme some info ...another sale at wm tomorrow???? omg ...i need some serious help im addicted!!!
Cinnamonhuskies Posted November 16, 2010 Posted November 16, 2010 direct access to Internet services like YouTube, Picasa , and AccuWeather ??? What does that mean? I need one with Netflix. I already got one for $94 at Kmart last week, but if I get one cheaper with Netflix too I can always take it back.
jamieva Posted November 16, 2010 Posted November 16, 2010 This one does not stream Netflix per the review on Amazon.com Any idea how much the Blu Ray movies will be for?
UtahHotDeals Posted November 16, 2010 Posted November 16, 2010 I was looking at this model the other day at our store...You're right, it does not stream Netflix. It's kind of sad, they call it a "Internet Application BluRay Player" and it has very few usable apps on it. It's almost like they took the Netflix off of it to cheapen it a bit.
tinkrbel Posted November 16, 2010 Posted November 16, 2010 Are these deals online tomorrow or what? I get different items but no sale prices coming up. I noticed the sale a few days ago but no sale prices, what's the deal?

felixdacat Posted November 16, 2010 Posted November 16, 2010 My walmart had no idea about this. Will this only be online?
queenofshopping Posted November 16, 2010 Posted November 16, 2010 Oh god, I will absolutely get that Blu-Ray, even if it doesn't do Netflix, if it means I don't have to risk my life and sanity for the one on BF...
Needs a deal Posted November 17, 2010 Posted November 17, 2010 What are the real prices for this sale going to be?
Iliveforblckfri Posted November 17, 2010 Posted November 17, 2010 Oh god, I will absolutely get that Blu-Ray, even if it doesn't do Netflix, if it means I don't have to risk my life and sanity for the one on BF... Why is getting a blu-ray that important? I am not being critical, I want to get this too. I just don't know if the picture is worth buying a new toy. Please let me know if the picture quality is really worth a new machine. Thanks,
Jen8112 Posted November 17, 2010 Posted November 17, 2010 Well I guess the sale starts at 6am. I hear the TVs are already lowered online but the blu-ray won't be until 6am.

Backstagemom Posted November 17, 2010 Posted November 17, 2010 Just got the blue ray oniline for $65........
queenofshopping Posted November 17, 2010 Posted November 17, 2010 Just got the blue ray oniline for $65........ OMG how? Like 10 minutes ago it said in stock but not available yet...now different pages say in stock/out of stock and it won't let me add it to my cart (it did before, I just couldn't check out with it) - what the heck?
Backstagemom Posted November 17, 2010 Posted November 17, 2010 I refreshed my page at about 4:45am and the $65 popped up and i put it in my cart and checked out immediately. I would say keep trying.
tinkrbel Posted November 17, 2010 Posted November 17, 2010 I got the bluray player for my parents. I guess I can always return it before xmas if I find a netflix capabale one before then. Considered getting BF and her hubby one but I don't think they'd enjoy it as much without netflix option.
momof3luvs1 Posted November 17, 2010 Posted November 17, 2010 Is the bluray player worth it? Not ure Im willing to take the plunge..but my hubby LOVES high def!
tinkrbel Posted November 17, 2010 Posted November 17, 2010 I was amazed at how clear True Blood is on the Bluray and when you can find good movies cheap it helps but also upconverts regular dvd's so I'd say yes its worth it
racerfan Posted November 17, 2010 Posted November 17, 2010 Is the bluray player worth it? Not ure Im willing to take the plunge..but my hubby LOVES high def!Blu Ray players are well worth it. I would love to get this one but it does not stream Netflix. I plan of getting the family a years subscription to Netflix and need something to stream to our big TV. We have a Wii and an Xbox but they are in the gameroom. Thats the only reason I did not try to get this one. I hope to get one that streams netflix on BF.

nebraskaparkfan Posted November 17, 2010 Posted November 17, 2010 I went ahead and ordered the sanyo tv. I figured I should get it now in case I'm not able to get a tv I like on black friday. It's free shipping to home. since I shop by myself, this is worth a little extra money.
