gcurdinc112 Posted November 14, 2010 Posted November 14, 2010 This will be my first time shopping at Target on BF and I am going for one of the Westinghouse TV's. I would like to know since it is on the BF sale list, will that item be by the door, or will it be in the electronics department?
Needs a deal Posted November 14, 2010 Posted November 14, 2010 Two days before black friday target. com will have maps of each store and where each of the door busters will be located.
gcurdinc112 Posted November 14, 2010 Author Posted November 14, 2010 Oh wow. Thanks so much for that info. Ill be on the lookout for that on the site.
Danascraps Posted November 14, 2010 Posted November 14, 2010 Doorbusters are usually positioned all over the store.
Bursley2010 Posted November 14, 2010 Posted November 14, 2010 While we are speaking of doorbusters, what time are some of you folks looking to get the Westinghouse heading out to wait in line? I'm thinking sometime around 10-11pm Thanksgiving.... think that could be enough to get one or should I head out earlier?

Hopefully I can sleep in Friday morning then!
Buckeye Shopper Posted November 15, 2010 Posted November 15, 2010 Gonna buy it the Saturday before and then take in my receipt Friday morning. Hopefully I can sleep in Friday morning then! I was curious with the big ticket items ,if they pull them off the shelf, so people can't do this?
cwrtlm Posted November 15, 2010 Posted November 15, 2010 I was curious with the big ticket items ,if they pull them off the shelf, so people can't do this? My target had atleast 4 today when I checked. I am going to wait as long as I can to purchase it, Wondering how far back they will go to adjust the price. I think it reads 2 weeks, but want some clarification for sure.
erose630 Posted November 15, 2010 Posted November 15, 2010 Interesting - I've done price adjustment with Target before on BF but I thought for sure that wouldn't work for this TV since it's such a major doorbuster. I was also planning around 11pm on Thanksgiving to start my camp out...hoping that's early enough.
Buckeye Shopper Posted November 15, 2010 Posted November 15, 2010 My target had atleast 4 today when I checked. I am going to wait as long as I can to purchase it, Wondering how far back they will go to adjust the price. I think it reads 2 weeks, but want some clarification for sure. I think they're typical price adjustment rules are two weeks. I've gotten price adjustments on toys and such but not the higher priced itens. Do you guys think there will be a big demand for the Xbox 360 w/GC deal?
hunnybunny Posted November 15, 2010 Posted November 15, 2010 So if i go to target with my reciept from 11/12 to get a price adjustment for leapster games u think they will .I hope so they are 15 on bf my hubby didnt know and he bought them on friday.

Are you certain it is the exact model as in the ad? In the past I've done Wal-mart, not Target. Wal-mart almost never has the big ticket with the matching model number items on floor before they unwrap the pallets at 5:00 am.
cwrtlm Posted November 15, 2010 Posted November 15, 2010 Are you certain it is the exact model as in the ad? In the past I've done Wal-mart, not Target. Wal-mart almost never has the big ticket with the matching model number items on floor before they unwrap the pallets at 5:00 am. It has a model # in the ad, and it matches the one in the store. Same price and everything. It is worth a try, if it won't work I'll just take it back. No harm no foul!

brinak2005 Posted November 15, 2010 Posted November 15, 2010 Some of the Leapster games are on sale now for $12.50
yellowjeepster Posted November 15, 2010 Posted November 15, 2010 (edited) This is Target's price match policy. http://sites.target.com/site/en/comp...=WCMP04-040400 They will price match w/in 7 days and adjust 14 days. You might want to print the policy or there is an email reply link in other posting and take it w/you. Make sure you have your receipt and adjust during the door buster time period. elena_398 Posted November 15, 2010 Posted November 15, 2010 My Target told me they do not carry this model in store. It's online only. They only carry the 42" in store. You better make sure of the model number/ size before buying before a price adjust.
speeddiva Posted November 15, 2010 Posted November 15, 2010 They will adjust w/in 7 days not 14. You might want to print the policy or there is an email reply link in other posting and take it w/you. Make sure you have your receipt and adjust during the door buster time period. To clarify: They will price MATCH other stores within 7 days. They will priced ADJUST Target purchases within 14 days. They will NOT match "doorbusters" or "timed events".
flyjar Posted November 15, 2010 Posted November 15, 2010 Do you guys think there will be a big demand for the Xbox 360 w/GC deal?I'm wondering the same thing. I want to get a second one for Netflix and gaming upstairs in my house. Plan:1. Target - X360 4GB w/ $50 GC + $10 GC 2. Toys R Us - X360 4GB w/ $50 GC3. BJ's - X360 250Gb - $300 - $50 instant = $250
princess01 Posted November 16, 2010 Posted November 16, 2010 Here is my question on the doorbusters: Target doesn't really do doorbusters right? Isn't the true doorbuster the $10 gift card with $100 purchase? Aren't the prices good Friday and Saturday? It's just that if they run out, than you're out of luck? Can someone please clarify that the prices will be the same all day. I am thinking of getting the $20 dvd player and a few toys on Wed then just price adjusting, but wasn't sure if I had to be to the store by a certain time to have this done. In the past I just went at whatever time I got by the store.

princess01 Posted November 16, 2010 Posted November 16, 2010 Target actually is doing doorbusters this year; everything is not a 2 day sale. So are the "doorbusters" only available 4-10AM? Maybe I'm missing something, but how can you tell what is a doorbuster and what isn't?
tyreejames Posted November 16, 2010 Posted November 16, 2010 So are the "doorbusters" only available 4-10AM? Maybe I'm missing something, but how can you tell what is a doorbuster and what isn't?Im currently mobile so I can't pull the scan up to look, but the actual item listing has a sun next to all of the doorbusters.
princess01 Posted November 16, 2010 Posted November 16, 2010 Im currently mobile so I can't pull the scan up to look, but the actual item listing has a sun next to all of the doorbusters. Ok, thanks for your help. I see in the scan every so often it has doorbuster listed beside random items. I assume only those single items are it, and not the whole page. Just not sure on the doorbuster time. I will pull up the ad listing and see if it states it there. Thanks again!
princess01 Posted November 16, 2010 Posted November 16, 2010 i just looked at the scan again. the doorbusters just say 'while supplies last' under them. but thankfully, i don't need any of the doorbusters so my adjustments should be ok to be made at any point that day.
3 boys Posted November 18, 2010 Posted November 18, 2010 My Target told me they do not carry this model in store. It's online only. They only carry the 42" in store. You better make sure of the model number/ size before buying before a price adjust. Good advice No BF westinghouse in my store AND NONE of the 3 Targets in my area will price adjust for BF..... They said it is a "new" company wide policy.... Glad I checked!
Jen8112 Posted November 18, 2010 Posted November 18, 2010 Target Stores Price Adjustment Policy • If Target advertises a lower price either the same week or the week following your purchase, bring in your original sales receipt to Guest Services for an adjustment. • Exclusions: Price adjustments are not made for clearance prices or Target.com prices. I BELIEVE Target will price match other stores during the sale only.
bigjimslade Posted November 18, 2010 Posted November 18, 2010 You also may want to look at this link as well where it says it does not price on doorbusters. http://sites.target.com/site/en/company/page.jsp?contentId=WCMP04-040400 Target Stores Price Adjustment Policy • If Target advertises a lower price either the same week or the week following your purchase, bring in your original sales receipt to Guest Services for an adjustment. • Exclusions: Price adjustments are not made for clearance prices or Target.com prices. Cinnamonhuskies Posted November 18, 2010 Posted November 18, 2010 Does anyone know if there is a limit on how many TVs I can buy? I want one and my oldest son wants one, but we were going to split up that morning. We want the Westinghouse, which I don't think is a doorbuster. (there is no sunrise next to the listing)I was going to have him pick up 2. Or should I give the money to one of his friends that are going and have him purchase one for me?
jade6700 Posted November 18, 2010 Posted November 18, 2010 In the small print under the TV it says, "Limit 1 per guest, except in ID or NM" So I would give the money to his friend for the 2nd one.
