I went in to put a layaway in and I spent an HOUR putting stuff in my cart. The signs for layaway were everywhere. I get to the counter and the lady said "I hope you aren't planning on putting that in layaway. This store doesn't do that no more." I point to the HUGE signs for layaway and she was like "Yeah, well we are closing in a month." I asked a friend who already had a layaway in if she had been notified and she said she has not. samisma Posted November 2, 2010 Share Posted November 2, 2010 :sigh: so i went up to where we have our layaway at lunch today since it's near my work. they wouldn't give me a straight answer, and the manager looked very uncomfortable. i cancelled the layaway since i didn't budget to pay it off early. we just put it on layaway friday, so rather safe then sorry.
