Thanks.. I just ordered the catalog from ABC and ltd! Can't wait to browse through them!

Mine arrived yesterday. FOrgot how much better the pics are on paper, lots of stuff I missed online...

Sweet... I will have request their catalogs too.... Love just sitting down and relaxing and flipping through these catalogs...especially after the kids have gone to bed.

I was a little disapointed with the LTD Christmas catalog when i clicked through online. I didnt see much that I just couldnt live without. Hopefully the real catalog will spark my interest more!

I put an order in from the Christmas catelog Saturday night. I bought my very first Christmas 2010 present. I got DD the "Jacob" New Moon Fleece throw. I have a feeling I am going to get really sick of seeing that thing before it falls apart ::) And I was pretty positive that particular one of the 3 offered was probally going to sell out QUICK!

I am new to this site and became interested in this thread, because I work at LTD Commodities.

 

I am the VP of Product Development and would love to hear what you felt was lacking from our on-line catalog and if the printed version had more of what you were looking for.

 

Are there any specific items, you did not find that you were looking for?

 

We are always seeking advice from our customers to make sure we are offering products they are interested in.

I think for me its just the mail catelog is easier to look through...without having to click to zoom ect, I do look online but often find more things when I recieve an actual catelog. It has nothing to do with your actual site. I think that LTD actually has a very user friendly and very well set up website.....

Thanks for mentioning the "Jacob" fleece mom2monkies, I have a "Team Jacob" daughter that will love one! I didn't have a good chance to look through the catalog before I moved and now I cannot find it. I too prefer looking at the print catalog and feel I don't miss anything that way, but I still like to check on-line often for their on-line only deals.

I just received my catalog the other day. They have an interesting mix of gifts. I have already found two Christmas gifts for family in the catalog.

 

I had never heard of them until I read this thread. Thanks!

I just looked up some other LTD threads on here and I read that if they have to ship items separately then they charge you shipping for each item. A few people had paid for their merchandise, including shipping and then received a bill for extra shipping costs.

 

Is this still the case?

We listened to many of our customers concerns on our older shipping policies, so, in June of 2009, we made significant improvements to our shipping policies by creating a shipping rate chart. It is now based on the total cost of the merchandise you select. We even lowered our shipping charges at many of our categories. Now you will know your total shipping costs up front, before you make your purchase decision. Whether we ship your order in one box or several, you’ll never pay more than what our chart indicates.

Yep the entire reason I stopped ordering for a long time was the shipping issues but its all better now. I DO wish you'd offer more FREE shipping if you spend a certain amount. I'd order more if free shipping was involved (Amazon brat, sorry!)

There are a few items that I would like to purchase. After I read the posts about the shipping issues I decided to not purchase from Ltd. Now I will check and see which items I still need to purchase and will place an order soon.

I love browsing the catalog, but cannot order because they don't ship to Alaska, and I won't put the extra hassle on friends/family to have stuff sent to them, and have them send to me.

I love the online deals only and the new and exciting every Monday!!!I dont ever look at a book any more I do all of it online!!!

I have found some really great stuff though the online deals.

 

I tend to order through The Lakeside Collection more, it seemed to me that site was the first to implement the standard shipping rates along with paying upfront. So it's become habit for me to go there first.

I also order mostly from Lakeside and the reason I went to them was the shipping charges, LTD shipping was terrible. Another problem that has frustrated me and most people I talk to about LTD is that is takes SO LONG to get your stuff, I feel like I have to order at least a month in advance or I don't even have a chance to get it in time. And then you will only get a partial order the other part of it may come along time later or be told that its out of stock, What other store tells you after you wait on it for weeks that its now out of stock. Since we have started ordering from lakeside I have had none of these issues. I am always surprised how quick it gets here and I always get everything I ordered.

We heard our customer and you will be happy to know that we now show stock availability for each item when you order online. And if you order over the phone, our agents will be happy to tell you what is available, when stock is due to arrive or help you find a similar item.
