moonvine
I am enjoying the heck out of my trial period...just wondering if it is worth what they charge for the year....
rocky41102
For me it's worth it because I am super impatient with shipping! Also, with 3 kids it's really hard to get out of the house for little things so it's kind of nice to have the option to buy things on Amazon-light bulbs, snacks, toys, etc...Also, I have family all over the place so it's nice to be able to ship presents to them. AudreyNicole
I am in the same boat... I am LOVING the trial period, but I am unsure if I will renew for a full year. I really don't shop online much, except for the holidays. But, I have saved over $200 since 11/25, which is awesome... I am just going to wait and see how much I shop with amazon after the holidays, and if it is worth the $79, I definately will do it. The fast shipping is what's gotten me hooked. lakj98
I love it. I will be renewing mine for the third time in January. I love the convenience of it.
dtwdmaty
I feel the same - LOVE it, but not sure if it's worth $79 for normal use. I'm going to try and talk a friend or 2 into joining in with me, but I'm not sure how that works.
abentley
It is something I LOVe and fully intend to renew my annual membership! I order from Amazon weekly, and it has been well worth it.
christib327
I think it is absolutely worth it! After having it for awhile now I don't know how I ever lived without it The UPS guy is at my house A LOT. I share it so it only costs us each about $20. First Lady
I just renewed mine, was debating, but my family said they'd chip in to cover the cost, so I thought it was definately worth it then!
Venusaur
I think it's only worth it as long as you share the membership with a bunch of people. Amazon's standard shipping is usually fast and free as long as your order is over $25.
jeninpa
Way worth it! I shop almost daily and buy most times every week or more!
BabyBear24kGold
my hubby and i are on first name basis with ups guy and we got 6 kids so it is more than worth it for me i order maybe 15 or 20 times a month i can imagine what i have saved in shipping alone let alone all i save on here and amazon :)
Christina97
I have loved mine! I think I will keep it for another year that way I can use it for Christmas next year! And perhaps a few birthdays in between :) If I don't use it before next Christmas, Christmas time will be worth it. I have saved so much since I started using this a few weeks ago! AudreyNicole
Can someone explain how to "share" the membership? I was under the impression that they had to be in the same household...
com
I started with a trial membership, debated on keeping it, I didn't think I'd use it much, but decided what the heck. That was 2 years ago, I'm due to renew in a month or two and I'm definitely doing it. I don't know how I ever lived with out it. I share it with a few other people so I only pay about $20 a year for it. I order from Amazon all the time, the prices are great, the free 2 day shipping is perfect for me since I'm such a procrastinator.
First Lady
You can add up to 4 people. To add, go to managing your prime membership and send invites to them. You just need to know their b-day and they need to know yours.
Scott
Can someone explain how to "share" the membership? I was under the impression that they had to be in the same household...Yes, they are suposed to be in the same household. Unless you have a corporate account, then they are supposed to be co-workers. : If you sign up for a Prime membership, you may invite up to four eligible household members living in your household (at the same address) to enjoy your Prime membership at no extra cost. (Please note that any member under age 18 may use the Amazon.com Web site only with involvement of a parent or guardian.) If you purchase a Prime membership for use by an Amazon corporate account, you may invite up to four eligible coworkers to shop for this corporate account consistent with these Terms and Conditions. The purchaser can change and/or remove invitees at any time. A guest's membership will automatically terminate if the purchaser of the membership ceases to be a member or removes the invitee. So although it "may" work, Amazon would be free to cancel the account at any time, or charge everyone in the account the $79 and force them to get their own accounts. jcarr492
So is there anyone here that has a "group" for prime that they are sharing themembership? Just wondered because I'd love to share a membership with a few people instead of paying the 79.00 alone. PM me if anyone is.

ratlenhum
I love it. I've had it for years. I abuse the heck out of it. Before I go anywhere I check amazon. If they have the same price or a little more I buy it on Amazon. It saves me gas and I have my stuff in 2 days, so unless it's something I need right away, I buy from Amazon. My son has food allergies and eats special foods. I get them in bulk from Amazon much cheaper than the health food store. I have 4 family members on my plan and all have offered to chip in for the cost of the plan but I save so much money with it I don't care.
Cinnamonhuskies
I love it! especially for living out in a rural area where driving a truck that gets 15 mpg 35 miles to the nearest mall stores, its sooo worth it! I buy all kinds of stuff there, but always compare prices. PS NO sales tax!!!
sewblessed7
OH MY! I just signed up for my free trial. I'm hoping for some other great deals. I can't believe how fast and wayyyy too easy it is to buy with one-click!! LOL! naturegirl
Has anybody tried the Amazon's PayPhrase service? I signed up for it and have used it a few times. It gives 5% back on amazon's purchase and 10% back on buy.com and other few websites purchase. I am still waiting for the cash back. I dont know how long it will take for them to deposit that cash back. But if it gives me 5% - 10% back, that means I can buy more 5-10% is only for purchases till dec31st i think, unless they extend it.
