fomoco Posted November 29, 2009 Posted November 29, 2009 Ha! Maybe too much shopping... No, they have been hurting for a few months. I know it has to do with the (dress) shoes I wear to work. I have tried to stop wearing heals but they still hurt! Should I try those gel inserts? I have clarks and those dont seem to help either, any other suggestions? Shoes you just LOVE the comfy-ness of?
conj Posted November 29, 2009 Posted November 29, 2009 hmmm.. . I wear sneakers to work, so I may not be much help... which part of your foot hurts? heel? toes?
missyjane Posted November 29, 2009 Posted November 29, 2009 I agree with the above poster...these work: http://www.drscholls.com/drscholls/productSearch.do?method=doProductDetailsLookup&searchArg=93
Sablesue Posted November 29, 2009 Posted November 29, 2009 Eurostep and Bare Traps can be comfortable. Although I'm not sure if Bare Traps sells anything other than sandals.
scrabbler Posted November 30, 2009 Posted November 30, 2009 The inserts have never helped my feet when wearing heels. I either get used to it, wear them rarely or wear Danskos. www.dankso.com
fomoco Posted November 30, 2009 Author Posted November 30, 2009 Thanks, everyone! I was also thinking of trying that "I love comfort" brand... trying to find stylish and comfort...seems like an oxymoron (sp?) almost! ps: the part that hurts the most is before the arch but after the toes...that pad area.
keferretti Posted November 30, 2009 Posted November 30, 2009 Try Softwalk. They're like walking on air.
tyreejames Posted November 30, 2009 Posted November 30, 2009 The Aerosoles brand is great. I have several pairs of boots and heels and I can walk on them all day. I actually have several pair from years back when I worked in retail and would be on my feet 8-9 hours on a daily basis.
Marcster Posted November 30, 2009 Posted November 30, 2009 Crocs have started making dressier shoes: http://www.crocs.com/womens-footwear/women-footwear,default,sc.html
dancergirlmom Posted November 30, 2009 Posted November 30, 2009 I highly recommend Dansko Professional Clogs and anything by Naot - both expensive, but worth it.
redraccoon Posted November 30, 2009 Posted November 30, 2009 Merrels. I'm currently sporting some clunky looking hiking shoe types. Ugly yes... but who cares?! My feet don't hurt! But they do offer lots of different models. If you have an REI near you thats a great place to go try them on.
angelic680 Posted December 1, 2009 Posted December 1, 2009 I would go with the rockport!!!! Great Sale today too!!! http://www.6pm.com/search/brand/135/filter/brandNameFacet/%22Rockport%22/productTypeFacet/%22Shoes%22/page/0/sort/price/desc/
rachealb Posted December 1, 2009 Posted December 1, 2009 I have a problem with my right foot/toes hurting.... Rocket Dogs seem to work the best for me!
cincymom Posted December 3, 2009 Posted December 3, 2009 Check Sketchers Shapeups-they are amazing! They have them at the Sketchers outlets for $99 if you have one nearby.
