beccasbank Posted November 22, 2009 Posted November 22, 2009 If I buy an item like the Ipod Touch on BF that comes with one of those coupons (like a $50 off your next purchase) and DH wants to return it, how will that work?
mom2isabella05 Posted November 22, 2009 Posted November 22, 2009 From my experience (and reading the fine print at the stores I've shopped at that do that periodically) they will subtract the amount of the gift card from the amount refunded. Just like if you buy something that's buy one get one free and return one of the items, you'll only recieve a refund for half the amount paid.
wx4svr Posted November 22, 2009 Posted November 22, 2009 Same experience here. They subtract the amount.
fluffkin79 Posted November 25, 2009 Posted November 25, 2009 I've never tried returning one, but you might be able to get the full amount paid back as long as you return the coupon or GC as well. I know that Walgreen's requires you to return any RR that were earned buying the item. I believe that Target's receipt groups the items and the GC together and says something like "All items must be returned for a full refund".
AndreaInNC Posted November 25, 2009 Posted November 25, 2009 depends on where you buy the item. And it depends on if you want a refund or if you will take a store credit.
