Buying a car on black friday??

As the wife of a car salesman, I can tell you that car dealerships don't do 'black friday' specials. As the article states, each deal is negotiated on a deal by deal basis. So, what you think is a GREAT deal, somebody else may feel is only an OK deal and therefore negotiate a lower price then you would.

Now, with that said, let me tell you another insider tip. CONTACT THE DEALER ONLINE. I know the dealers in our area all give the lowest price quote they can to people who email for quotes. WHY? Because if you are taking the time to email one dealership, they are going to assume that you are doing your research online and emailing multiple dealerships to find who will give you the best price before going in for a test drive. So, they know that they have to give you a quote for the lowest price possible just to get you into their dealership for a test drive.

Just have the courtesy to go in and see the salesman that contacts you with a quote, because they have already helped you and if you see another salesperson then the initial one doesn't get anything for it.

I just got an e-mail from the Fred Beans family of dealerships (where we bought my wife's car). They are doing a deal specifically for Black Friday where they'll pay your sales tax on any new vehicle (up to $600).

That is so true on all levels. Also same thing with Realtors, if you are looking to buy a home and email or call around to different Realtors, PICK ONE and then stay with them. :cool:They only get paid when a sale closes (commission only job and still have to split it with owners of the company)...:yup:
