EmmyNavasMom
I think my girls ages 7 and almost 4 would love them but have heard mixed reviews on them. Anyone have any experience with either? Thanks! :)
georgiapeach717
we got wikki stix from my zaxbys (a fast food chicken place) and I *hated* them!!! they have this wierd tacky wax on them and they get stepped on and into the carpet and stuck. And after the first "project" they make with them, the wax gets all clumpy and creased and they dont look nice and pretty anymore. I have not seen the bandaroo brand in action so I cant comment but the wikki stix I did not care for at all.
christib327
My boys (they are 5) LOVE bendaroos. They spend a lot of time sitting and playing with them. They make all kinds of neat things with them. One of them is getting really good at making jewerlry out of them
pogiporkchop
They look like a waste of money to me. DD has already asked for them and has been told no.
goodiegirlie
My DD got bendaroos for her bday in April and played with them for a day or 2 and thats it...I noticed if you bend them very much the wax starts cracking on them and she wasn't able to make things easily like the ad showed. In my opinion they are a waste of money.
Scanner420
Thumbs down on the Wikkistix!!! My kids had a ball with them, but they didn't last long. Wax fell off the strings and got onto the rug and we had a hard time leaning them up. I also heard that they're a huge PITA if they get in the dryer and set in on your laundry! Elmck
My DD6 wanted the Bendaroos but after reading about them, I decided no, she has never tried them but she would be disappointed if they did not last. Grandma has the Paperoni's for her, I am not 100% sure of those either, but we will see.
guilliam
Are Bendaroos and Wikkisticks the same thing? My son's therapist has suggested getting Wikkisticks to use to outline the pictures he is coloring to prevent him from going outside the lines. They think it will help him get the hang of it. Any thoughts from people who have used them??

Any thoughts from people who have used them??We also got wikkistix because of our OT and once my son got used to the texture (which was a sensory issue) it did help him with his fine motor skills as well. Both of my kids like wikkistix and we have not had any issues with them...we still have the same set from 3 1/2 years ago
jillandjustin
NO BENDAROOS! THEY MAKE A MESS! The wax gets everywhere, on everything, and it does not come off!
bargainchaser
Bendaroos are a fun craft! Yes, they are a litty sticky/messy.. But most crafts are! Perfect for waiting at Restaurants.... You can buy them at Walgreens, Target, or WalMart.
