Ohmygosh, that rocked--thanks, got $75 worth of stuff, qualified for free shipping, and $5 off my order for signing up for the email, and some very cool xmas presents.(and a free stocking lol) -
Ours is that way too-- always completely organized and they are just the best-- plenty of stock, even providing porta potties lol. They do not tolerate line jumpers. I was so happy to get my Norton 360 that night after I had slept, ate and bathed I could have cried. My stupid Office Max only had 3 in the store then misdirected me 3 times as to where they were- so I lost out even though I was 4th in line. The stupid ad said while supplies last but only 3? That is completely absurd. We even got a psc for $29 for the daughter the next day (at Best Buy) and they price matched a hard drive for my husbands computer from the Walmart site so he ended up saving $27-- I love Best Buy!! " we're not worthy"

Couldn't have done it without this site...many thanks, Susan.

OK--you're joking right? Most Walmart employees are on welfare--ie, our tax dollars, because they can't afford the health insurance even if they are full time and can get it. And you don't think the absolute disconnect of reality and real life of the upper echelons of the auto execs (flying to beg for money from the govt. in their private jets) have anything to do with their failure. I am sick of people blaming unions for everything. They are the Good Guys-- Walmart--Bad Guy. Hearing people defend Walmart makes me physically ill. I haven't shopped there in 4 years. I remember exactly when because the last time I was there was Black Friday. It didn't go badly for me-- I just made my decision soon after based on what I know.

So did ours-- I love Best Buy.:)

This is for therapy right....? Daughter was on a college radio station from 12-4 am so we were up listening and taping for her. Got worried about the Norton 360's (at Office Max) when I couldn't put them in my shopping cart anymore at 1 am- I wanted to just order them online earlier but wanted the free shipping and couldn't find anything to add to order then husband made me clear the table for him as he was having a hissy, so I just left them until later.Grr. Radio Shack and Office Max are in the same parking lot, Radio Shack opened at 6- Offic eMax 7. I left the house around 2, sat in my car listened to daughter until 4 am- was pretty much alone until 5 am or so, but I was worried about the Nortons. Went and stood in line was first at Radio Shack, people quickly got out of their car and joined me, I got my Go phone, no prob. Went right over to Office Max, was 4th in line, 2 people cut in line, went in and was told the Nortons were in the front, couldn't find them, another employee told me they were up there, no dice-- within 5 minutes I found them, and the 10 other people who got there ahead of me-- there were only 3 in the store. Unbelievable. Got everything else I wanted except the digital coin counter at Bed Bath and Beyond. Shopko was nuts as there is only 1 store here now, got there after Office Max, got some coffee, used the bathroom, and left because the lines were over an hour wait. Looped back later, got everything I wanted, including some New Balance tennies I love for $26- less than 1/2 price, the highlight of my day. Also got a musical light set thingy on clearance at Costco which I LOVE- you just hook it up to your lights to set them to music. I don't do Walmart for reasons of morality. Oh yes-- Target did NOT price adjust. **Just wanted to add after crashing for a few hours at home, showering and eating I went back out with husband 'cause he was looking for deals on a hard drive for his ancient computer he refuses to let go of and snagged a Norton 360 for $30 at Best Buy :-) Will wait to see what kind of deal I can get on line for a second. Also got some photo paper at Staples 40% off-- felt much better about the day after getting my Norton in hand lol. ***Was reading someone elses post and realized I forgot Circuit City- got 2 packs of cdr's and a few movies online with the free shipping and after Bed Bath and Beyond hit Cirsuit city on foot because daughter's boyfriend said they could use some dvdr's and they had three spindles left of the 100 packs, so I grabbed one. Wanted to look through the movies manually because there were no full lists online and didn't see anything I wanted so that was it ;-)

Does anyone know how long this deal lasts? -
So if I'm on the west coast-- I could conceivably get an early bird special at 3AM? Is the Staples website reliable on these occasions?
-
What time do you personally get there to be able to get the snow globes? And where are you if you don't mind-- I think Penney's is a bigger deal in the midwest..I'm originally from Illinois and now I'm in Oregon.
-
What is the line like for Penney's? I went to Penney's once many moons ago-- and don't remember much. I know a lot of people seem to line up for the snow globes-- just wondering what time to get in line this year.
-
Thanks! Deals on Feliway and Nature's Miracle always appreciated when you have many kitters.
-
Well, I for one am glad--we're going to Disneyland in February and couldn't afford to spend a bunch of money anyway. There's also the possibilty my union could go on strike this year and I have an appt. for 2 kittens (Ricky & Lucy 2 reformed ferals) to be spayed and neutered Dec. 10th lol. I still plan to be at Penney's at 4 am, but I won't stand in line more than 15 minutes for that, then I'll make my rounds for early bird things here and there-- if there's still stuff in stock good for me-- if not oh well. Would be nice to be back for the Macy's parade ;-) The main thing we were wanting this year was a camera and thanks for the advice of very knowledgeable mods already got a 'rockin deal off Amazon. Not waitin' for Walmart as I haven't stepped foot in there for at least 3 years for moral reasons.
-
Ditto. Best Buy was very professional-- I got everything I came for which was quite a lot and got there around 7PM--not giving up my dinner but Planes Trains and Automobiles with the family lol. We should actually be very thankful for the process as is still---think about concert tickets...you used to camp out and get good tickets-- then they started that stupid lottery system, then of course it was all about who's computer was fast enough.
-
Thanks for the info-- we just did it-(Canon A560)got the battery charger too. One less thing to worry about. It seems to be on a lot of top 10 types of lists also with great reviews.
-
Thanks for the tips ;-)

Daughter needs one, hers broke would like 1gig don't need more than that but more cheap would be appreciated I'm sure. Doesn't have to be a name brand.

Our Afterthoughts out here had clearnace stuff 10 for $5-- it was awesome! Thanks for the tip. I checked Claires today-- they had nothing like that but Afterthoughts yesterday had tons of stuff and she said they had a whole backroom full of it so check back the next few days. Afterthoughts is a lot like Claires-- probably a sister store like Old Navy and the Gap.

Thanks for the heads up about this-- I would have never known. We got the lighted drums for $14.97, an excellent buy. My husband really wanted these. They had the water windows $11.97.

He he I thought you were talking about Triumph the insult comic dog. Brilliant idea for a gift though for my son lol... :-) I have to take back a Far Side Calendar to Borders because husband and I both picked one up for my son-- was looking for something to make my gas worth it.
