That's the one I have been wanting! I'm going to do a tour of Targets in Tucson tomorrow. There are a few things I really want to find on clearance. Now if the stores have cooperated and marked them all down to 75% off, I'll be a very happy mommy.

Where are you in AZ? I just bought two of them for $34.98 last week. I'm happy with $34.98 but will be estatic if I can get them for $24.98.

Woohooo, I just received my first delivery notice from Best Buy. :) UPDATE: Both of my orders have shipped with only one backordered item. Not too bad.

I just called two Targets in Tucson (Grant/Tanque Verde and Old Spanish Trail/Harrison). I received vague answers as to when toys would be marked down and when XMas would go 90%. They are both holding strong at 30% off toys and 75% off Christmas. I know as soon as I cave and buy the VTech for $35, it'll go down in price. Granted, $35 is not a bad deal. I am inclined to think I am going to cave rather than wait. If they do go down further and they have them in stock, I'll buy one and just return it with the $35 receipt.

Locate the item that you want to find. When you click on it, there should be a tab that says something like Find it at a Local Target. Then you can type in your zip code or city/state and it will show if any are available. I have found this system to not be 100% fool proof. Sometimes items are in stock and they show out and vice versa. Good luck! :)

That's pretty much what I was thinking (about the toy markdown). I'll just have to keep checking back. I want to get it for my daughter and then save it for her bday (June). She plays with it every single time we go to Target. Today, I had a hard time getting away from the VTech. :)

Is it the concensus that toys will be 50% off around Friday? They have the VTech VSmart system (it was some sort of special item for the holidays) marked down to $34.98. I'm hoping it goes a little lower even though that is still a pretty good deal.

I agree. My 4 year old daughter was able to work it. It's supposed to be for a little one but I would say it's for a little one who is over 3 or so.
