  1. My find for the day was an air hockey table that was originally $69.99; got it for $17.48. I also scored one of the $12.48 vacuums. woohooo I also found a few of the kid's bath sets and bought up some of those.
  2. I bought some replacement paper for my daughter's easel at Office Max. I didn't realize until I got it home that it's pretty much like tracing paper. I haven't checked the other office supply stores but think they might have it too.
  3. I may have to trek to Oro Valley and check out the situation up north. Thank you for the information. :)
  4. I just called the Target closet to me and the playhouse is marked $99.99. This just doesn't seem right to me. I may need to go look for myself to see if the guy was looking at the same one.
  5. Congratulations!!!!! Have fun with it! :)
  6. I have learned that if they cancel my order and it's still showing available on the website to call Customer Service and bring it to their attention. This has happened to me a couple of times and I have contacted CS and questioned it. They put in a second order for the same items, waived shipping and shipped it UPS 2 Day. Both times I received the items.
  7. Awww, I'm bummed too. I would've loved a couple of these in each size! Shipping for two of each size was $80! Thank you for the post anyway. :)
  8. You could check Amazon to see if you can find more.
  9. If they did, more than likely there wouldn't be anything left.
  10. I thought it was the Target policy to do price adjustments within 14 days. That's what my stores do. And I am the same way, I keep my Target receipts with me and if it's past the 14 days, I buy it and return it with the non-sale receipt.
  11. They will but normally they don't last; especially to 75% off.
  12. I avoid Wal-Mart at all costs. I had ordered the Dora Dollhouse Set for $10.00 and have until tomorrow to pick it up. It's pretty sad when I don't even want to go in there to pick up a site to store shipment that saved me quite a bit of money. I used to love shopping at Wal-Mart when they first came to Tucson but they are just too trashy now. The majority of the clerks are rude, they play the most obnoxious, loudest music, you can never get through the aisles and if they are bringing out pallets, watch out! I actually had one almost take out my 4 year old daughter!!! If I hadn't pulled her out of the way, he would've run right into her. I was furious!
  13. This has always been my experience. The threshold is when one is paying without a receipt. I've gotten multiple price adjustments/done multiple returns and have never had a problem but I've always had my receipts. Target's return policies have taught me to be a packrat with my receipts. One never knows when it may be needed.
  14. You could always give to him for Valentine's Day or Easter, etc. or just because.
  15. I do that all of the time and it's great! You can lock into the price and hold off ordering until payday, tax return check, etc.
  16. Those are GREAT ideas for party favors. I am always looking for different favors rather than the standard cheapo party toys and candy that are in most favor bags. I pride myself in always giving out awesome party favors so I can always use new ideas. Thanks for sharing. :)
  17. My friends are the same way. Then they want to know about the good deals, etc. I have one friend who says well you have money to shop. I keep telling her that the only reason I shop is because I look for bargains. I would NEVER shop like this at regular price. Perish the thought!! Besides, where is the fun in buying things at regular price? There's no hunt or sense of satisfaction in knowing I just saved money. I'm single so I don't need to worry about the hubby questioning what I buy. However, I will be moving next weekend and the first load to the new house will be the minivan load of items from the Target 75% toys sale.
  18. Thanks! :) I love to find good deals too. My friends make fun of me because I am always bargain shopping but they are always impressed when they know how much I paid (or didn't pay). The first Target I went to yesterday I was on a mission for toys only. Then the second store I was going to return a couple of items that I had bought at 50% off but found at 75% off and do my 'regular' shopping. That store was 30%-50% off the day before so I wasn't sure they would be at 75% off. I knew they were when I saw a lady in the checkout line with a cart full of toys. Of course, I headed to toys first and THEN got the other items. :)
  19. When I got to Target this morning, there were only a few ladies in the Toys Clearance area and we were all being very civil. The markdown team had only marked down 1 aisle but were feverishly getting items marked down. They were also very pleasant so kudos to them. By about 0900, many of us had our overflowing carts. I was overflowing on my one shopping cart and trying to figure out how to get a second one without losing sight of my cart, my purse but most importantly my 4 year old daughter. Then these two women with Starbucks in hand came RUNNING down the main aisle to the area speaking loudly to get the toys, etc. It was hysterical to watch them hit the brakes when they saw all of us with our overflowing carts. lol It's like they felt they would have run of the toy clearance aisles. They quieted down after that. I saw them come out after they paid as I was still doing creative packing of my 2 cartloads of toys into my minivan. I still had the cartload plus of items from my Target trip yesterday in my vehicle. They each came out with about half a cartload. I know this sounds really terrible but my first thought was 'AMATEURS'...lol
  20. I just sent you a PM. I have 2 of these. :yup:
  21. The VTech VSmile I bought for $12.48 was the special one they had gotten in for the holidays. It wasn't part of regular stock.
