Check out the prices at TRU now. A lot of the prices in the ad are the same as they are now. I know the Aquadoodle is the same price now as in ad.

Usually with any of their gift cards it is for a future use, not on item purchased. Not sure if you could use it same day if you split you order (I think I heard that with one of the GCs it was 6 hours??)

I agree. I work for TRU and this is the first time seeing it, and I am not impressed. Where are all the HOT toys? I think the sales they have running now are better.

I can confirm this. I saw the hours they are open for the holiday and Thanksgiving was Closed, but Black Friday was Midnight.

Checked my rewards account today and noticed only got credit for half the amount of the sale. Looked around on the terms & conditions page and found that any time you buy something on sale, etc you only get half. See rule #11 "Qualifying purchases do not include gift cards, shipping & handling charges and reward-eligible diapers, formula and greeting cards. Purchases of infant furniture, battery powered ride-on vehicles, video game hardware,outdoor play equipment, and all purchases at a discount resulting from any sale, coupon or other offer or discount only qualify for $0.50 for each $1.00 spent. All other purchased items qualify for $1.00 for each $1.00 spent." I know I rarely buy anything that is not on sale, so that is going to cut my reward amount in half. Any time you use any type of coupon, this is the result.

I remember last year that they had a B1G1 on all Loving Family stuff, not just furniture. I remember seeing people buying 2 houses at a time when they were in stock. If you know someone else who wants one, that would be a great savings for you.

Check your coupon. That might not start till Nov. 1st (Sunday) and this sale is only today & tomorrow.

My DS always wanted the Electronic Monopoly and now we can get it. Great 1/2 price sales. Thinking of getting both Monopoly Electronic and Here and Now and Uno Spin and Uno Flash. Anyone have them?? Any one you would not recommend?

Shop Rite has been doing this for a while now. Sometimes you have to remind the cashier to give you the .05 credit per bag used, and I often use self check out and usually I will remember to get the credit (if I'm not in a hurry), otherwise I don't bother with it. I actually like the bags. You can put a lot into them.

On another note....everyone who has the BF add for TRU and thinks they can get the doorbuster prices by getting it on Thanksgiving and then going back in Friday morning..think again. I heard there will be no price adjustments. Just refunding money and you have to find it in the store again. Anything returned will not go back on the shelves immediately and you can not just pick it back up out of the re-shop cart.

I agree, they should not open (thanks K Mart for starting that). Most people who work at TRU have families with young children/grandchildren and most are women. Who is going to cook on Thanksgiving? And if you're going away for Thanksgiving, who is going to wait till you get done work and travel to eat only to eat at 7-8pm. And the hours they are opening 12-6. Why not 8a-12p so people can enjoy their families and have a good meal? Isn't that the purpose of Thanksgiving - being with family? I know I will be at home cooking during that time.

I work in Delaware and we are one of the biggest in the country in sales volume (no sales tax and people coming from PA, NJ, MD, & DE). I don't know if all will open at midnight, but I would think so. Anything for that extra $$

I was just in to TRU to get my schedule and they are opening at midnight on BF and are also opening Thanksgiving day 12-6.

We just got a 6th Avenue store here in DE. Looks like they have pretty good prices and will give BB a little competition. Has anyone ever bought from them? How are they?

Heard yesterday that where there was a profitable K-B store, thats probably where they will put one. Now Christiana Mall in DE is still up in the air. They might add more pop-ups than first expected though. Pop up stores will only have the "hot" toys and probably will have BF advertised toys. I can't see them having everything the normal store has in stock though.

No - Christiana Mall is less than a mile from the store, and heard from management that one is being put in there.

I did receive an email that they were hiring and for me to fill out an app. I would work there, but I know BF is a must for them, so.... I'll pass on that job. Does anyone know what their employee discount is? Their discount is 10% except on systems (no discount). Yes BF is a must, but I get around that by working at night and the store is nice and quiet by then. If you're thinking of working at the Christiana store, go ahead, the people and managers are really nice.

I live near a QVC outlet center and have bought Temp-tations bakeware & Technique Silicone Bakeware for my daughter in law and step daughter. I love my QVC outlet store and am in there every week looking for a bargain.
