Our store still has 3 at the doorbuster price

We went to our Walmart again about 10pm. Still lots of doorbusters, I picked up the rubbermaid set I completely forgot this morning and some Cars washcloths, men's fleece pants and toddler track suit. Then PM'd a couple of movies from Toys R Us.

Our Walmart was unbelievably less busy than years before. Only spent 10 minutes in line to check out. All of our stores were dead. Kohls, Target, BB & Walgreens were all still well stocked with doorbusters at 10am. It was shocking. At 8:30, my husband was able to walk in to a BB, get a $9.99 PSP game and walk right up to the register with no waiting.

PA with no issues, $86 back. She asked which items needed price adjusting from the receipt & I just smiled and said "All of them".

I went to Meijer this morning at 4:30, bought all my stuff & was back home by 5:30. The line for electronics was about 1/4 the length it was last year. I'm not sure if that is because of the deals or the economy but I thought it was interesting.

Last year I got there at 4am & by 5am most of the "shelf" items were gone. The line for electronics was about 100 people long.

I'm headed to Meijer tomorrow morning too. I'm after the Transform & Go Rocket, Pooh Super Sleuth Changing Tree, Rocky Blu Ray, Lego Batman Wii, Cars toys and preschool games. I love Meijer!

We went on Sat & our's had already started marking them down. Sit 'n' Spin $8 Hippo block toy $5 Leapfrog $10 Little Leapster $10 software $4 Vtech computer kids thing $10 Big stuffed animals $5 Chicken Dance Elmo $8 Cabbage Patch babies $8 I wanted some more mega blocks, but they were out of those.

My PA tonight at 8pm was smooth as silk. We took a stroll around and still couldn't find the digital picture ornaments, but we picked up some TV box sets on DVD & a couple of rainchecks. I am very impressed with the restocking and the customer service at Target. They will definitely get some of my BF money each year.

It was our first BF TRU experience & I was very impressed with their organization and supply & even checkout times weren't bad. We weren't after the the Zune, but they gave out vouchers about 4am for the 20 they had in those, but never told the back of the line. So lots of people were rushing to electronics & asking about the Zunes that had already been spoken for.

According to meta critic Barnyard got an average of 6 out of 10 by critics. So, not the best game ever, but good enough for $9. The Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer got an average of 3 out of 10...so probably not worth the $9.

Ok, if you browse the BF ad through the interface that page is there, if you look at the pdf from the link on the front page of the site, it isn't. Very strange, but I'm not panicking like I was 10 minutes ago .

Anyone else notice that the TRU BF ad posted on this site has 1 extra page then the ad on the TRU site? I can't seem to find the Step 2 Neat & Tidy cottage & pool table in the BF ad on the TRU website. I also am getting an Adobe error when I open the pdf so I can only hope it is an error on TRU part.

I picked up 1 in Avon, IN tonight. They had several on an end cap at the back of the toy department facing the "wall of games." HTH someone.
