Joanns has 50 -60 % off every weekend in their flyers. I would just go every week and get a few. They have better selection at cheaper pricing.

If you buy a lot it's worth the money. Plus you get free movie streaming. I always signed up for amazon mom and got prime free. I've never paid for it. Now I just do the free super saver shipping. I'm too cheap to pay the yearly fee. I will pay it monthly when they switch over to that route.I have been an amazon customer over 5 years now adn I'm definitely an amazon customer . They beat everyone elses prices daily. i bought 3 things yesterday and the 2 kids gifts were both half price from teh toy outlet. One was a Ripleys believe it or not books 2013 and it was half price.

The fire and hd are different in size, I don't like these type of cases. I want a snap in case. I want a marware folio case, but it's 20 right now. My son has one that I bought him for his fire last year. Hopefully they will have a half off case special on my kindle special offers.

It's a handheld wii console. YOu can even control your dvr and tv through it. My son tried to explain it to me. It will use all your old wii games and controllers also, but has new ones. You can go online and watch a video about it. I was in walmart friday and a man tried to preorder one. He had a printout from online . They told him they only were allowed 4 preorders and Nov. 1 was their cutoff. He was very angry. We got lucky and preordered ours in Sep. They were sold out at BB but I had put one in my shopping cart a few days earlier to show my son what the total would be with tax and I guess it took it out of the limit.

I'm feeling a little better. My husband had been off work since August and although I had a christmas club I was waiting till black friday to cash it. I hadn't been buying as much as usual. I had bought my grandkids tablets and my 3 month old granddaughter a carseat and a few things, but my own 3 kids I hadn't bought anything for. My son is 15 and the 8 has been fine for him. The movies take up about 300mb when in mp4 format. He keeps them on his laptop and changes them occasionally. He mostly streams netflix which takes up no space or watches youtube. Books take up very little space also, only 1-2 mb each.I have 1000 on my kindle and its only half full.

That's not true at all, You do not have to buy from amazon. You get that support no matter where you buy from. Mine didn't come from amazon and they replaced it twice even when I broke it. The only difference is the after xmas return length. That is the only difference. You get a full year warranty with complete full support from amazon no matter where you buy it from, so don't give false information. I go on the amazon help forums every day and answer questions to other kindle owners. I know what kind of warranty they give. Amazon doesn't care where it is purchases, they make the product and they give full support of it. They just won't give you your cash back, they will replace it for you though no matter what happens to it. IF they won't replace it free for some reason like you smash it on purpose, the will still give you a low cost replacement.

Okay, guys I have a dilemma. My daughter had originally asked for a kindle ereader. I was going to get her the paperwhite. Now she says she'd really like an Ipad. She is fully grown with a baby and I don't spend that much on my grown children,. I spend about 150 -200. What are my options? I thought kindle fire, but what else is close to Ipad without spending 400. I'm really a kindle person.

You get that support no matter where you buy it from, but if you buy from amazon, you have until jan 31 to return for full refund no matter what. If you buy from somewhere else, you go buy there return policy. Some only allow 2 weeks on tablets/ In that case if it's after 30 days you get a refurbished unit. One lady bought one for a xxmas gift and registered it, by the time xmas came around it wasn't working and staples wouldn't take it back, she had to go through amazon but it was past the 30 day time period and she couldn't get anything but a refurbished unit. It wouldn't have happened if she'd bought through amazon.

I agree with the amazon customer service. It is just too good to go with anyone else. I go on teh amazon help forums every day and answer questions and read the posts. THere are people with nooks on there too and people with other tablets and ereaders. THe other companies are awful. I went on teh nook forums just for fun to see if they were true and the people on there are so upset and angry all teh time because you get no help from them. Amazon replaced my kindle twice, I broke teh screen myself and they shipped me a new one free. ONe lady said her dog chewed hers up and they sent her a new one. One person said she replaced hers 9 times because the keys faded and they kept sending her new ones free. No other company on the planet will do that.

I bought my grandkids resistive screens. All the low price ones have those screens unfortunately . Only the 200 and up ones have capacative screens. I've never heard of that brand, but I bought Pandigital ones. Cnet reviews said Pandigital were the best choice for the low price tablets. I can't justify 200 for 3 grandkids. My own kids get the fires, but not the grandkids.

My children dont really believe in god, school stresses the science part of it and we are not church goers. To us its just a time to be with family and give gifts.

Craftsman tools are not what they used to be. They are just okay. Buy teh Dewalt if you can. STay away from all those other ones listed. They are junk. My husband is a 30 year union carpenter and he knows tools. I bought my son a craftsman drill last year but only because it will only get used once or twice a year.

Im looking for one also for my grandson. I dont see them going away. My son loadshis bag of movies and takes his camping. It has a 7 hour battery in it and we recharge it in the truck. I wouldnt take an expensive laptop in a tent

amazon sometimes puts old ones in their lightning deals, but never discounts their new models. I went on to order a Paperwhite just now and they are sold out until Dec 21. They are giving free 2 day delivery so estimated delivery is Dec 24. Thats too close for comfort for me

Our walmart always has plenty left but I bought ours at sears the week before cheaper. My husband has been off since august, but I had a big xmas club and we get a big unemployment check. What difference does that make? THe original one didn't have ads at all. On the new one you can opt out easily and they dont get in way anyway. You can still charge with the usb and it's a better upgraded model. My son had the old one and it is great. His came with a wall charger, but we use our phone charges most of the time since they are already plugged in.

You don't need an adapter. THe usb cable that comes with it charges it just fine. I have 9 cell phone chargers in my house that also charge it just fine. I also paid .99 cents for a usb power adapter that works just fine. You don't have to pay to remove ads on the fire, it's only on the ereaders that they bother you. You can opt out of them on the tablets.

As for cheap tablets, Cnet said the only ones they recommend are Pandititals, so I bought 3 for my grandkids. My own kids have kindle fires. I had bought a Coby tablet and come to find out although it had 2 gb, only 40 mb was for apps. You have to watch that stuff. The rest of it was for books only.

You don't need to buy the charger, the usb cable that comes with it will charge it. The charger is an unneccessary expense. Most all phone chargers will charge it also. I have 9 total chargers in my house that charge mine. THe roo case is okay. I bought a marewarefolio case. IT was 12.0-0
