Kohl's ad...

Thanks racerfan! Now I don't know which one I'd rather he have...hmmmm....
-
I'm sure this has been asked a million times, but my oldest ds has just started talking about these, and he has a birthday in January, so maybe for that, but what is the difference between a DS Lite and a DSi? TIA!

Thank you so much for posting reviews for this! I was thinking about getting it, but didn't know how well it worked...we have a golden retriever, and a baby, so there is always hair on the floor, and with the baby starting to make her way around, she'll get a fistful of fur if I don't have the vacuuming caught up...we have hardwoods and one room with an area rug... SOOOOOOOO getting this!!

My goodness, so much variation, it's like their clearance, YMMV... I did see (I think it was in the article that Big Jim Slade referenced on the MSN homepage regarding the WM ad being released), where they showed different stores that price MATCH, and Target will not PM, for sure, for that day, because they won't PM specials,or something to that effect...don't know if that was mentioned, so I thought I'd throw that out there, just in case...

Maybe corporate needs to be asked if they will price adjust DOORBUSTERS specifically, since it seems that this is most of what everyone is hoping to have adjusted... plmarquis, I think when I had to contact them a couple of years ago, I did it through the website, via "contact us" area...had to be, because otherwise, I'd have called, and I wouldn't have had the e-mail for backup as I did...

If you get the answer you want, I guess you'd better hope the nice lady is working when you go for the PA, LOL! I had problems a couple of years ago, and I had gotten a copy of the e-mail and had that with me...the girl at GS was a total snot, probably all of 17, and I told her when she was such a brat that corporate said they had to do it...she asked her manager, and he manager basically told her she could do it for me, but then that was it... I had no issues last year, but it was also a different Target...I will ask again when I go there in the next few days...

Do you or Will you do reconnaissance on Wednesday before Black Friday?

I do this with Kohl's and Target...Kohl's has stuff in such odd places, and plus if there is something that I MUST have (last year it was the GeoTrax plane set), I want to see how many there are, to see if I stand a chance of getting one...as it was, last year I went late Wednesday night and got the GeoTrax stuff, because there appeared to be only about 12 of the plane sets, and I was afraid I wouldn't be able to get to it before they were gone... -

I did not know this, either! I've only done it the one time, so now I know better! -

Ooh thanks! Good to know...I know I've seen people here say that the cashiers have told them that if it goes through, they'll take it...guess I need to make sure I look for the teenage cashier who won't take notice... -

I've seen people comment to this effect for quite some time now, and if I'm not mistaken, it's Target's stated policy...guess I'd better plan on getting some games too, then, while I'm there on BF...already printed out the coupons, but haven't had time to be thorough with the ads yet... -

Target will still take them...as long as they beep at the register, they will go through...I just did this on Saturday with a coupon for Scout... Still searching for Violet... -
First stop on Thursday...Radio Shack to get the Garmin Nuvi 265wt for $169.99 and case for 14.99...on Friday, I'd head to TRU to get dh an iPod Touch for $199.99...then to Target to pick up the Nikon Coolpix S203 for $88, a Chefmate sandwich maker for $3, and Cootie for $5...and then I'm off to K-Mart to get the Crayola crayon maker for $18.99... Grand total: $499.96!! :)

I KNOW I couldn't do that convincingly! LOL

Yesterday was the first time I tried it, with that same coupon, and it beeped and went right through! -

It's not titled scout or violet...I think it says something like text something or other...just go down the list of coupons on there...I want to say it's like the third from the bottom of the list...you have to read the coupon, too, because it'll only show a picture of the text n learn toy, or whatever it's called, but when you read the coupon, it includes Scout and Violet... Now if someone could just help me find Violet, I'd be happy! LOL -

Search this thread, because someone posted a .pdf file of the coupons, and that's how I got them...they're the expired ones, but they work at Target... -

Thanks for the info on the Leap Frog coupons, whoever posted that...I got Scout for $5.99 between the price cut, $5 Target coupon, and $4 LF coupon...now if I could just find Violet, for my own baby, I'd be all set...went to three Targets today, and no one had it... Now my price match for Guess Who Extra, is another story, and a nightmare! I'd left my TRU ad to PM out in the car by accident, so before I went back out there and then back into the store to check out with the game, (I already had things in the cart, and was thinking I'd have to check out twice), I asked the cashier where to get the PM, and she said Guest Services...OK, so I went back to toys, got the game, and checked out, figuring I'd go thru the checkout only once now, then go to the van and get the ad, and go to GS...well, you'd have thought that I was asking them to tell me what the value of Pi was, down to the 15th decimal place! Holy crap, it's BASIC MATH, people! Target sold the game for $24.99, then they had the $5 off coupon, making it $19.99...TRU had it for $16.99...so match their price, and honor the coupon, right? The person there had to call a manager because she was trying to give me $3 credit, and I called her on it, and said that just because the cashier couldn't do the adjustment, I shouldn't get burned on the coupon, and that they needed to honor the coupon, as well...so the first manager comes over...he apparently can't figure it out, so a second manager comes over, and she tells me the $5 came off at the end, and that I paid $19.99 so the difference was $3...no sh!t, Sherlock...so I had to explain, yes, you sold it for $24.99...TRU sells it for $16.99...if this was done at the register, the cashier would have PM'd the $16.99 price, and then taken off the coupon...I kid you not, I was there for 15 minutes with this...my ds kept whining "when are we going to go?" And I kept telling him, "when they can figure out how to do this and give me my $$ back!" I cannot believe it took THREE people, and basically ME TELLING THEM how to do their job to get this fixed! I told one of them that they must not be getting many requests for PMs these days, and he said they were getting lots, esp with the $5 coupons...well I can't possibly be the ONLY PERSON they've had this issue with!! Good grief... -
Thanks! I appreciate the info!

I see Dell is going to have the Garmin Nuvi 255w on sale, and it is close to the sale price on Amazon (third party, so God only knows anything about the company, shipping, etc., as I haven't had time to check them out myself)...it appears to have the features I like, but I don't see anything that says whether or not you can update the maps without a fee? Do any GPS models offer this?
-
I'm wanting the Nikon camera, possibly the GPS (though I'd prefer a Garmin, and Dell will have them for BF--and possibly available on Thanksgiving), and since Target is near our outlets, I will probably end up there around 3 as well...
-
I thought we had the K-Mart bf ad before the Thanksgiving one last year, too...
