Whoo-hoo!! Went in tonight and got EVERYTHING I was after, at the sale price, PLUS I got the Kohl's cash...last year, I got the sale prices, but no KC, as they weren't offering it the night before Thanksgiving...one stop crossed off my list!! :)

Does anyone know who gets the call when you call a Target store directly? I pushed 0 for the operator,and wonder if I should've requested to speak to someone in Guest Services...I intend to go there tonight anyway, since someone said the pajamas were already on sale, to get a few things, and I think I'll just casually ask someone in Guest Services while I'm there...

Just called my target, and they will NOT price adjust for items in the 2-day ad...

Yeah, I just scrolled thru there...there was a Magellan also...however the sale price on the Garmin was $119.99, so it wasn't much more than the Magellan, whereas this Garmin is significantly more than the TomTom...there I go rationalizing again! LOL thanks for the input!!

I wouldn't either, but when you weigh $97 for a TomTom versus $179 for a Garmin, in this economy, I think it's more likely that people will opt for the "less is more" thinking...or at least that is wishful thinking on my part, anyway... Secretly hoping that Newegg or Amazon will PM them prior to Friday, and then I won't have to go there at all!

WOW...and so it begins...

I want to get the Garmin Nuvi 1350T in the ad for $179...I was there last night, and they had like 10 of them...my thinking is that most people are going to be trying to get the TomTom...I really don't want to stand in line until 5, and Target is a distance away from the mall where Kohl's will be open at 4...if I go later (say 8 a.m.), what do you think my chances are of still getting the Nuvi I want...it's supposed to be wet and blustery here on Friday, and as I get older, I have less and less tolerance for this weather (that's why I lived in FL for 11 years, LOL)... I don't want to get screwed on the price adjustment deal, so that's why I'd rather just get it on BF...

It was worth not getting the sleeve and car adapter at TRU to me, because now I don't have to stand in that line HOPING that I'm going to get one...with the $15 I saved between tax and the difference at TRU, I can buy at least the adapter for it, I'm sure...with the gas $$ I saved, and my time, I can deal with paying for the skin, LOL!

I went ahead and got it, too...we were going to wait until after Christmas (ds birthday is in January), but with no tax, no shipping, and $5 less than the cheapest we've seen it in BF ads, I couldn't pass it up...

Didn't someone have one that had the Mario skin on it, too? Or was that just for show? I thought I saw it on walmart.com, but I can't find it now... ETA...never mind, that was a DS Lite bundle...

I thought I read it somewhere in this thread, but I can't find it now...is that where the unit advises you of which lane you should be in when approaching intersections and such? I don't think you need the coupon for this...I think that appears in the bf ad...

OK, so I'm really starting to get my shopping lists together for next week, and I thought I wanted the Garmin Nuvi 265WT from Radio Shack on Thursday (still have to call and see if they're open here, but that would be awesome!)...so I'm cleaning up my Target list, and see that they have a Garmin Nuvi 1350T for only $10 more than the one at the Shack...I only remember seeing the TomTom they are having, and I'm not interested in that... I went to amazon to see if I could see what the difference is, and there really doesn't seem to be one, from what I could tell, although I will admit that I am technologically illiterate, so because I don't see one, doesn't mean it doesn't exist...does anyone have either one of these, or know anything about these, to help steer me in the right direction? They both have 4 stars on amazon, but the 1350T only has 17 reviews thus far (assuming it's a newer model?), and the other has well over 500... Any input or opinions?? TIA!!

If you have a vision center in your WM, you might want to check there...my dh's best friend is an optometrist at one in NY, and he's told me in the past that they will have sales on contact lenses on BF, so maybe they do on glasses as well? I know BF is one of their biggest days in the vision center as well...
