House hunt in full swing - I think I have 7-8 houses I’m planning/hoping to see with my agent Saturday morning plus another open house or two once she needs to go to handle other obligations. Hoping the winner is somewhere in this bunch! Fingers crossed! Baking for gifts about to ramp up as well. First shipments go out by Tuesday! Time’s flying!!!

Eesh! Crazy how fast shipping deadline has snuck up on me! Still pulling together SS stuff in the midst of work and house hunting! (Nope, I’m not the least bit busy! LOL)

I’m working on buying a house so this is one year I’m glad I don’t have many folks to buy for. LOL Looking to keep my costs at $500 or less for Christmas and supplies for the church NYE party. We shall see.

My primary job - I have Thanksgiving and BF off as a holiday. My second (fun gig) retail job - I expect I’ll be working there at least a few hours. All good.

1.) For what I’ll be looking for, likely Target/Meijer/Walmart 2.) I’ll for sure be out and about shopping on BF. Not yet sure exactly which stores but B&BW is always on the list. 3.) I still miss the little JC Penney snow globes. Wish they’d make a comeback. They always made an early stop at JCP a must for me. [emoji170]

I bake like a maniac for Christmas. Have for years. Got several dear friends who look forward to their Christmas goodie boxes every year. I typically ship ~50 lbs of cookies, bread, and fudge to my track family at Joe Gibbs Racing alone. It makes for a crazy first half of December but so worth it. [emoji16][emoji106]

Info sent! I’m late this year but life has certainly happened these past few weeks. Had to replace a transmission in my car and almost lost one of my furbabies to a nasty infection (she’s thankfully on the mend).

Same! And mine’s only 32 GB! The horror!!!

20 years already next year?!?!? Woohoo! Can’t believe it’s been that long. I haven’t been here from the very start but it was only a few years running when I -did- find GottaDeal. I recommend to everybody looking for deals all the time now. [emoji16][emoji16][emoji16][emoji106][emoji106]

I realize I totally fell off the planet from here for a bit (and I know I’m out of the running, dang it - my own fault). Been a busy summer and now I’m in the middle of house hunting for the first time in my adult life. My rent increased 10% last year and another 20% this year (after multiple previous year increases of <5% which were manageable). With this year’s jump, I finally decided enough was enough and that the costs of renting here are now outweighing the benefits. Time to move. Time to buy a house. So… Yikes (!!!) but also Yay!!! And my dad has just told me that, once I’m moved in, I will have a lawnmower! Woooooo!!! (And yes, when I realized I was excited about a lawnmower, I had the “oh gosh… I’m really an adult, aren’t I” moment. Ha!) I’ve literally been in this same complex ever since I finished school and I’ve been in this apartment for 17 years. Soooo there’s some amount of “this is a bit of a scary leap” since I’m doing this on my own but I know it’s time and I’m excited by some of the properties I’ve already seen in my early searches that are actually in my desired price range. [emoji16] On the other hand, I’m dealing with health issues in my tortie kitty girl, Mew. We’ve discovered hyperthyroidism and a mild heart murmur as a result of two seizure-like episodes she’s experienced over the last few weeks that my vet believes are “vascular events”. We have a thyroid recheck tomorrow (2 weeks on the meds) and I am to schedule an appointment with a cardiologist for sooner than later once we confirm we’re bringing the thyroid issue under control (hopefully that confirmation will come as a result of the appt tomorrow). Little miss Mew is almost 15 and we need to understand cause of these episodes that are scaring her and giving this kitty mama my own “vascular event” when they’ve happened. With BF coming just around the corner, I knew it was high time for me to pop my head back up around here and check in. Hope the rest of my GD fam is well and ready for our favorite time of the year! Just rolled in from my week in Charlotte, NC for the Coke 600 race weekend. I. Am. Beat. But… It was worth it. Hope all my GD’er fam is doing well!

Gosh darn it… That Vegas trip I went on at start of March caused me to miss my monthly post, I think. Sad face!!! Anyway, happy April folks. I’m still here. Just apparently not in the club anymore for this year? (Brad could confirm if my reminders failed me.) Hope my GD fam is well. Been crazy busy on this end and losing track of time far too often as a result. Days are running together. I’ll finish another trip around the sun and start a fresh one next Thursday. Checking in from safe at home here in SE MI. Had to go into my office today in spite of the predicted snow. Cleared out of there just before 2, usually takes 25 mins to get home - not today. Roads felt like some giant spilled his supersized slushie all over them. Made it home in just under an hour. Not going back out tonight. Counting the days till Vegas trip (3/1). So ready to be away from this weather. lol
