Is it at all WM or just a local thing?

Took some digging, but here is the original post that I read about a recall on some of the $388 computers.... Just a FYI. That usually comes up when something has been recalled but when we scanned it with the telezon it did not say anything about a recall. That is probably why they were still there they were not be able to be checked out. We then handkeyed it so the lady could buy hers today but it was highly recommended that she call Dell to make sure it was not recalled. You do have 14 days with receipt to take back computers. So really we have no idea what was going on with the Dell desktop. I think they were going to call home office.

well I had read that one poster somewhere else on this site had gotten one that rang up first can not sell. But the manager over rode it and sold it any way for 388. So I was just putting it out there in case anyone else had it happen. Better safe than sorry.

They had to over ride the price manually for all 15 of the toshibas at our walmart so I'm not sure. If you think you may be affected by the Dell recall, contact DELL to find out if yours has been recalled.

The crap shouldn't be so secret from the stores that they do not have time to educate the employees. They dropped yet another ball this week!

Not available for order anymore. As a matter of a fact harly any shoes for 9.99 are. Women- stay away from the power storm- and the others that are 9.99 right now. I got smoe a while back when we had a 10 of any 10 code (with free ship so I got them FREE) they were so bad I wore them once they were REALLY hard the bottoms do not flex blisters blister blisters. I took them off when I got home and put them in the trash. I would not recommend. But they are available. But horrible.

It doesn't say actually in the ad that it was a Dell 1501 (or whatever) It just says it can be a dell, toshiba, or HP with minimum specs of..... That could easily be shot down. But still they are only obligated to honor the blitz stuff 5am to 11 am as in the paper and online says... Never hurts to try ( and cry!)

I should have ordered most online, but didn't. I figured I get it at Walmart while I was there for the $388 computer. I got a Toshiba with 2 g ram and 120 hard drive dual core processor. It rang up $6??.98 but then they had to over ride each and every one of them. Wi FI ready and all. Great deals. Couldn't get them online. Should have loaded up on everything else as we had to pay for the computer immediatly . Next year I'll shop Online first then go out if I HAVE to. Did you have to pay high shipping? Thanks

Has dual core processor, and a lot of other stuff I can't see at the moment. We had 15. All rang up 598 regular price. It took till 5:15 to get a manager to come do a price over ride on EACH one of them.

My walmart electronics rep told me they will not tell them anything till tonorrow am. When the black plastic is taken off, then and only then will they know how many and what brands and specs are. That's a pisser.

I have always had to have my DL # if I do MOT have a reciept. And that is at any walmart. It's no big deal. If I get to my limit at one WM I go to the next town over ( I am as scatterbrained as they come, I can NOT keep up with reciepts!) If someone else gets my DL number all they will see is a really bad pic and my addy. And they can get your addy from whitepages, netdetective, or a hundred other places. No biggie for me.

Last year when they had the minimum stated--- that's all they had at any of the stores around. I called all 12 and they only had the minimum.... It's one of those things they use to get folks in the doors to buy OTHER things!

if you call them you should still be able to get it.... I have had them call me back two days after the fact when I thought about getting a desktop and he came down off of the (379 advertised but I upgraded several things) price by ANOTHER $75 two days later trying to make the sale!. We just had some unexpected things com up and couldn't. Man am I kicking myself!
