Was at my wal-mart tonight and they still had alot of BF stuff and the prices were hit and miss on BF prices. Our store sold out of the movies on BF and still had some video games marked down. The jeans (with shirt) combo's were still BF prices but all the board games (a huge overstock of them) were marked down but priced higher than BF and the jackets (huge overstock of them) and electronics were full price. And they had alot of the wii's sitting out (with the walmart police guarding them ) for the sale today and they still had alot of them left tonight as well.

I didn't realize it till I saw this thread, that I didn't get a WM ad in the paper or mail. I wasn't planning on shopping there anyway so it didn't matter. But our local WM's all took a hit yesterday. no many shoppers at all. My daughter went to WM last night and said they still had quite abit of doorbusters still on pallets at 10pm. OUCH!

just got back from shopping. Very strange this year. Went to the mall and there was barely anybody there. Went to penneys to get a telescope and was out the door in 10 minutes. Last year I went to penneys and there was 3 times as many people there. I strolled around the mall no lines at the stores except for people looking for wii's at gamestop and fye. But the target at the mall had probably 400 people waiting to shop People did tell me that our BB had lines wrapped around the building and so did TRU and Compusa. Walmart looked pretty dead when I drove past it on the way home.. Last year there parking lot was full all day.

I got there at 5am and my KM had a sign on the door saying they only had 10 wii. There were 20 people in line all looking for wii. I guess 11-20 were hoping they get more in. First person in-line was there since 10pm I gave up and came home still wiiless

That is what I am doing. I was planning on taking my sister out for her first black friday sale (she is usually a procrastinator when it comes to x-mas) but with all the lack luster deals and secret this and in-store special that. It's not worth my time. It's bad enough I have to go to KM on T-day morning to try and score a Wii, unless I am lucky enough to win at amazon (I don't have that kind of luck though:no:) I much rather sit infront of my computer in my warm PJ's and click away. So the B&M stores don't get my $$$ this year. Too bad for them.
