  1. Went to Middletown Ohio store. They have tons of toys, but still at 30% off. I'm truly bummed:(. I leave for vacation on Thursday and won't be back until next Thursday so I'll miss the whole thing!!! I did find that they had a lot of Hello Kitty kitchen stuff clearanced down 75%. I was able to get a toaster oven for $5.00. I'm not sure what my DH will think of a pink kitty toaster oven in the kitchen, but for $5.00 he'll just have to cope!
  2. I had a cart full of stuff then the site closed. When I finally got back in, my cart was empty. Sigh. I guess it's a sign that I don't need to buy anything:)
  3. I got 4 shirts, 1 pair of pants, 1 pair of shorts and 2 bras for $20!!!!! The bras alone were normally $30 each. Merry Christmas to me!
  4. Got mine too. Everything was perfect. It was my first time ordering from them and I noticed that the receipt said that you could exchange items at a retail store. Maybe that would be better than dealing with the company directly. I have to admit that I was very impressed with the packaging. I thought the whole VB box and designer tissue paper was pretty cool. I definately think my 11 yr DD will be very happy at Christmas!
  5. If you sign up for their VIP club, they send you a code for $5.00 off your first purchase. I don't know if it's stackable or not. Worth a try!
  6. Day 5 Deal: Mountain Boy Pull Sled Package - was $125.00 now $49.00 Rustic handhewn character puts this sled in a class all its own. Durable birch planks and shaped willow railing for generations of use. Molded plastic bottom slides easily. Cushion provides padding and insulation for long days outdoors. http://www.llbean.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/CategoryDisplay?categoryId=55425&storeId=1&catalogId=1&langId=-1&feat=hcc-slp
  7. Wow...the website is very slow. I wonder if it's like this all the time or just 'cause a lot of people are checking out the deals.
  8. I've had such problems with Amazon.com in the past posting one price on their website then changing them and cancelling my order. I understand honest human errors, but they seem to have pricing errors all the time that they don't honor.
  9. I haven't opened the package yet, but it looks like a normal size headphone jack.
  10. I'm pretty sure that you convert mp3 files to the fp3 format to put on the unit. You just can't put the purchase Fisher Price stuff on a regular mp3 player. http://reviews.cnet.com/mp3-players/fisher-price-kid-tough/4505-6490_7-32025567.html I was able to find a pink one on clearance at Target for $14.97 in the summer. I bought a cheap SD card on BF for my 5yr DD so she can get an "mp3" player like her older brother and sister.
  11. FYI - Meijers also had it in their pre-Thanksgiving toy book for $19.99. I think the sale there ends 11/21.
  12. Hmmm...sorry about the bad link. Perhaps this will work http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.jsp?id=pcmcat43300050006&type=category
  13. Best Buy is having a Friday and Saturday on-line only sale on Ipods and other MP3 players. Not a huge savings on Ipods, but I've not really seen them at a "sale" price anywhere else. Here's the link: http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.jsp?id=pcat17080&type=page&qp=crootcategoryid%23%23-1%23%23-1~~q70726f63657373696e6774696d653a3e313930302d30312d3031~~cabcat0200000%23%230%23%23p1~~cabcat0201000%23%230%23%231y~~ncabcat0201011%23%230%23%231q&usc=abcat0200000&sc=audioSP
  14. I don't know if you have a Meijer store nearby, but they have it listed in a two-week toy ad for $19.99. http://www2.meijer.com/ads/default.aspx?sid=61
  15. A place called CCG Armory has it today for $25.16. Not a killer deal, but some savings. I've never ordered from them.
  16. I would recommend doing a web search for reviews. I recall seriously considering it for my 8 yr old DS and was surprised at the number of "adult" reviews who said it was really difficult - but a good physical workout. I never did order it.
  17. I can't get one. It's keeps asking me to log-in, but it shows me on the screen as logged in. When I get to the payment screen, I enter in all of my information but it takes me to the "create personal account" screen. I've tried 3 or 4 times and have been stuck in this loop. I guess I wasn't meant to get one. I just hope that they don't charge my card 4 times!
  18. Okay, I had a little bit of problem printing the coupon. When I tried to print, it said that my printer's preferences were set to "keep printed documents" and that I had to uncheck this option to print the coupon. I unchecked the box then tried to print the coupon but received a message that I had already printed my allowed amount of coupons. I called the 1-800 number and they said that they were having a lot of problems with the website and they would mail me a coupon. So...you may want to check your printer's setting before trying to print the coupon.
  19. It had to be a typo. If you pull up the ad on the website, it says buy 2 get 3rd free. I already recycled my Sunday paper, or I would look to see if it had the same typo.
  20. I think the MSRP of the 1 gig shuffle is $79.99. I know that you can buy a refurb one from apple.com for $49.99 w/o ITunes card. I agree - it's very, very tiny. May not be the best option for a kid, but it's great to use while running/working out.
  21. Thanks for the info. After doing some internet searching for other reviews, I am soooo on the fence about this one. My 11yr old DD keeps saying that she wants an "Ipod" for Christmas. I guess that I'll wait and hope for some killer deal on one closer to Christmas.
