We like to talk in line...one of the best things (other than the GREAT deals) about BF shopping. You have something in common with everyone in line, you are all bargain hunters!
Thanksgiving morn, I was at Meijer, the first one in line for a 27" lcd hd tv with 4 college guys and a campus policeman. When the crowds starting rolling in I started getting nervous that I would get run over and not get my TV. The guys pretty much adopted me and did everthing but pay for the tv for me. They got it off the pallet, placed it in my cart, checked out in line with me, followed me to the car and helped me load it in. The spirit of the holidays, you gotta love it!

The only problem I could foresee is that when the lines got bad, everytime you PM you need a CM to do a key flip. That could get bad, but I was in and out before it got that crowded up front!

We are the same way with our 3 (10, 8, 5). They don't get to toys all year round. Christmas and birthdays are it other than the other small gift Holidays (Easter, valentine's, etc) I am o-kay with splurging on Christmas. This year we are up to about $300 each. It seems the older they get the smaller and MORE expensive the stuff gets.

Ours had danish and "other" cold breakfast items, juice and coffee. I didn't stop long enough to eat, but it looked good and would have been perfect if I had to wait in line. It was set up right behind the registers, like where the line would be to check out.

Our Walmart (WInchester, KY) sat out the number of chairs of laptops they had available yesterday with numbers on them (1-30) for the quantity they had. I thought this was brilliant! The only way you could cut is is if you physically picked up someone and removed them from the chair. Obviously you couldn't do this with every door buster but for the really limited quantity ones--worked out perfect! Of course the 30 chairs were filled Thursday @ 6 pm.
Congratulations to those of you that got the items that you waited so long for!

Are you sure...bait and switch means they advertise one thing and "SWITCH" it out with something else. Thus the reference to SWITCHING!

Yea I cant really stand the people who spend half the time in the car and then just jolly up in line when they hand out the doorbusters. If you want something, stay in the god damn line and be a man, not a p**sy.

On the back of the Circuit City circular. Is the DVD+R discs web only? It says 11/24-11/26 but not on sale as yet. So am I right assuming I can get these online today?
