  2. Can anyone who did the Secret Sale last year give some clues/tips? I really want a laptop and that's the only one in my price range so I'd like to try my darnedest to get one.l
  3. It depends....this year it looks like we're going to share a new laptop with a few small gifts sprinkled in. I guess we usually spend around $100 on each of us.
  4. it's a Christmas special from last year, not a movie.
  5. Dollar General usually has some nice trees for under $20 but I think I'd try Craigslist & Freecycle first. For smaller decor, definitely Dollar Tree. I've gotten great wreaths, garland, ornaments, etc there.
  6. I love all the ideas! I keep small stuff in purses in my closet and then we have a camper that I store all the gifts in, it's locked so the kids can't get in there. I usually just crank up the heat and wrap out there too. Then on Christmas eve while we're at church the neighbor gets it all and puts it under our tree.
  7. thank you! 2 of the toys my boys wanted out of the TRU book have coupons...Yay!
  8. Thanks! I ordered 3 to use for the school Toy drive!
  9. Same rules for us with the emphasis on #2 & #3!
  10. I placed 2 orders and both of mine show shipped and gave tracking #s....yay!!
  11. BigLots j/k!! I'm looking forward to Meijer and Target.

    Meijers

I'd love a Meijers that PMd too! I live on the border of IN/OH and Meijer won't even PM itself if the other stores have different prices.
  13. Thanks! Got the Lindsay in Java Blue for $25
  14. What a great idea!! I think I'm going to take my blue IKEA bags on BF. They're HUGE and have both carry handles and over the shoulder ones so they should be perfect. :)
  15. I'd wait and see what bonuses the stores will offer. Last year I got my DD the (then) new-style Ipod for $149 w/a $50 store rebate making it only $99.
  16. Actually, Ohio has no state-wide law against ticket scalping, Ohio law authorizes municipalities to regulate (Ohio Rev. Code § 715. 48). That said, I see the pros & cons of it. I think the retailers seriously need to come up with a better thought out plan for BF crowds. It's not like they're being surprised by the amount of people out for the deals like they were say, 5 years ago.
  17. Awesome...thanks so much! Thrillville is one of my kids' fave games so having it for the Wii will be great!
  18. It's showing 89.99 for me Darn...it's the one I've been looking at for months too!
  19. It was the Zales deal....so it was FedEx "Express Saver". I guess that means the slowest but I still don't get why they would let it sit in their terminal for 2 business days before delivery. It says "on truck for delivery" today so I guess my vent can be over.
  20. My package has been sitting in their terminal 20 mles away for DAYS. WTH does "not due for delivery" mean?? I can understand the weekend and all that but why wouldn't it be delivered the next business day(today)? Jul 21, 2008 7:06 AM At local FedEx facility FORT WAYNE, IN Package not due for delivery 4:36 AM At local FedEx facility FORT WAYNE, IN Package not due for delivery Jul 18, 2008 7:33 AM At local FedEx facility FORT WAYNE, IN Package not due for delivery 3:52 AM Departed FedEx location MEMPHIS, TN
  21. Since that's a beta feature, I'm betting it's not working. I put in zip's from all around the US and nothing came up.
  22. It says u need the Zune sync cable for the adapters...isn't that the one that comes with it?
  23. Thanks for the FWD! It's a really great deal!!
  24. I used the 1st one...I got 250 free or 500 for $9.99
  25. I'm only getting 250 free? Do I need a code or something?
