Our town has a Dollar General so yes I drive but not as far as you do. Next town doesnt have a target or best buy but hopefully one day they will it is growing like crazy.

I dont think I like the ticket process, I like the idea of things in different places, that way everyone has a chance not just the first ones in line. I would rather choose which is more important to get and go after that and then try for the other things I want. Our walmart gives out tickets for how many tv's they have but they dont give them out until the sale starts. Then you pay for it and drive around back to pick it up.

Well my DS's TV somehow ended up on the floor faced down. Looks like I will be shopping for a TV this year. Keeping fingers crossed for a good deal on a flat screen for around $100.

Best thing to do is to check out the prices at stores after the ads come out and then decide if it is worth your time. I dont think that regular tv's will be floding the ads, unless they are combo ones. Most people are wanting LCD or plasma and that is what draws them in.
