I did have a nightmere last year that I over slept becuase the year before I actually did! I know how do I over sleep on BF I was up getting our family room ready for carpet to be laid and I had a newborn! I still kick myself in the butt for it! I am actually thinking of just staying up this year tho I am so freaking excited! Now if we could only get an awsome ad leaked WOW I can't take this anymore!

I am sorry that you have to go threw this we only have 1 niece and we have 3 kids so I told dh that we needed to spend a little more on her because he has 3 kids to buy for and we only have one. We were going more on her this year anyway because her parents "don't have money" but spend it on STUPID stuff and only spend 30 on their child for the entire x mas, I know that some people do only spend that amount, and some people can't really afford it that is fine. But his brother and his gf spend 100's on stickers for their truck or make it louder just stupid things and it makes me sad that they say they can't afford it when if they would just budget they could. I love the idea that someone posted about just going 60 on each of her kids and then you don't have to say much because thats what he spends on your kids, I know that its gunna be hard and good luck!

I was too and thats what the lady told me as well and she also said that the stuff in it is "really awsome" this year and that they are opening at 4am

I don't really have any cute ideas just wanted to say, make sure that your children know that its in there after a while. DH got some hunting boots from his mom one year and she put a $75 gc to cabelas in the box and he didn't know it till we went to throw the box out it just happen to fall on the ground. It was a good thing that happend or she would have been really upset!

I would dress up as a ghost, and then no one could see me sneak in the stores and get everything that I want and move on to the next one! that would be so awsome!

I really like this idea I think that I'm going to try something like this, maybe it will help my kids listen a little better as well, I always tell them that Santa is watching them but maybe I can say santa sent the elf to watch you till Christmas! Awsome idea!

I can't wait! I want to get all the decorations out now! I will wait though! Just made list of all the gifts that I am going to be making should really start on them so I don't have to cram it all in at once! I also can't wait to come home on BF and wrap everything and put it under the tree! CAN'T WAIT!!!!

I make for my grandma the calendars on Shutterfly every year. The calendars have pictures of my kids and then usually my brother and sister so some of her grandkids as well as some of her great grandkids and she LOVES it! She has it hanging in her room and tells my kids all the time that they are the first thing she sees every morning. They are $20.00 and the last couple of years they have had a B1G1 sale and so I always get one for my other grandma and then my mom, dh mom, dh grandma and myself!

I have watched Elf, Santa Clause, Annie, and I want to watch Santa Clause 2 today, and also can't wait to watch Holiday in Handcuffs, and Snowglobe. I did have those dvrd but dh deleted them.

I am SO excited! :) I haven't done the midnight thing, we leave my house around 2. My sister who delivers papers has to get her route done first and then we leave. I think that last year though she did have somone else do it so we could leave earlier as I wanted to get in line at target. I count my money everyday, make a new list everyday on who and what to get.

I also did the bottle things last year, my dd teacher LOVED hers, ds teacher didn't say anything about hers I hope that she liked it but I'm not sure. I put a candle, pad of paper with their inital on it, wall flower,hand soap, I am not sure what else but it was PACKED! I am planning on doing a cooking one for dd 4k teacher this year and then the candle, sanitizer, wall flower, lotion, for her teacher aid, and the same for ds teacher..I was thinking of even doing one for the bus driver with candies and then a gc to kwik trip.

wow you people are very organized! I just right it out on a piece of paper what I want and who its for so I don't forget..(hate it when that happens)..lol..might try something different tho sounds like a great idea just I do just like having the paper folded up in my purse and know before I go in to the store what I am getting. Now for the coupons am I missing out on something? I don't use them on bf. where do we get them?

Anyone ever have a hard time buying for a two year old girl? My oldest dd 4 (5 in nov) is SO easy to buy for and ds7 is pretty easy as well, I am just having a hard time trying to think of what to get dd2 she just had a birthday so got a lot of clothes, and some toys. I know we are working with pottying so underware is a MUST!..I was just looking for some other ideas.

I got the bag last year and I had the twilight woods in it. I love that stuff I was going to give it as a gift but changed my mind and kept it for myself.

I love putting my tree up early, I have in the past had it up before Thanksgiving. My dd birthday is Nov 17th and we have her party here and then Thanksgiving is here as well and my moms family ALWAYS gives me a hard time saying " I can't belive that you have your tree up already and just things along those lines and it DRIVES me nuts! I would never go in someones house and say that..to each their own! i want to put it up either before her birthday party or right after it

I generally know what I my kids want and then whenever you ask them they can almost alway let you know right off the top of their head what they want. We actually just drew names for our family today (the kids aren't included just adults) but everyone asked the kids and they knew what they wanted I am however still going to have them make a list because we have 7 different places that we go to for christmas and we buy for everyone and they buy for us.

I haven't ever camped either, and since the town that I go to isn't that big I don't really think that I need to either, I just wait in line for 3 or 4 hours. I have read all of the post about camping and wow some of you have put a lot of time into this camping out thing. How do you have room for all your shopping items after you put all the camping things away
