I am so glad someone asked about Webkinz because I was wondering about good places to find them as well. The kids I take care of love Webkinz and the girl has a birthday coming up, and I think I want to get them each one for Christmas. I will check out the places mentioned. I saw some on Amazon also, for pretty cheap. I really love the kangaroo and it's only 10 bucks with free shipping. Also, I saw the webkinz in the Walgreens ad, and I was wondering about them. They are Lil'kinz or something like that. What is the difference or is there a difference and are Webkinz better than those? Any info would be much appreciated.

Do you guys think this is the best price on a GPS we're going to see this season, or do you think there will be lower prices on BF? We really want to get one for our dad and this looks like a good one but if there's gonna be more models and better prices we can wait. Othewise I need to do this soon. Thanks for any advice!

I just wanted to say a big thanks to everyone who's helping out telling us what the MM packs look like. Today on a trip to Target, I was traveleing down the aisle with the juice and thought, "hmmm, I'll check, just for the heck of it," and right there on a shelf in plain sight was one lonely pack of MM apple juice. I knew it was the right one because of the pics and descriptions everyone on here had given. I was so excited I snatched them right up and scanned them about 3 times just to see the 0.69 on the screen. I also made my sister scan them and told her how huge it was to find it, "these MM packs are practically legendary on Gottadeal", and we laughed. Thanks again!

elena398, I am so impressed with your shopping lol! Where do you find the Target coupons, do they come from the Target website and you just print them? If so I need to start checking the coupons more frequently and actually print them. Way to go!

I always really start out with the best of intentions, meaning, I really do plan to fully coordinate and have a visible theme going on, and the tree does really start out that way. But then I see the ornaments we've had since I was a little girl and I get nostalgic and remember how much I loved this one or that one and I think, "Well I'll just put this one up there, it's so cute and it kinda matches", and from there it's all downhill. I usually end up putting most of my favorite non-matching ornaments on the tree anyway. Last year the theme, if you can call it that, was super glittery and looked amazing with the house dark and just the christmas tree lights on. I found tons of ornaments that weren't horribly cheesy at Dollar Tree, which I love, like these pink glittery reindeer and since pink is my favorite color those were all over the place. Today we went through the garage and I got a glimpse of the ornaments and I can tell it's gonna be another year of good intentions gone by the wayside. I can't wait!

Thanks! We are braving the crowds tomorrow and one stop we have to make is at Target, so we will check there. Our Kohls didn't have any, (but then again, my sister went by herself and well let's just say I'm sure she didn't look as hard as I would have, lol), and the one she got at Walgreen's was almost perfect except it's not as slinky or squishy, whichever word describes it best! I am completely finished shopping for my mom except for this one pesky item, which by the way was only added to her list about 3 days ago. It's those squishy pillows with the tiny beads inside them, like a bean bag, with a cylindrical shape. I think people use them on airplanes and such. She loves the one she has but it got a small rip in it and has started to lose the little styrofoam beads. I figured no problem, 10 bucks at Bed Bath and Beyond or LnT and bam problem solved. Well, tonight I went to both places only to be told they didn't have them in the store at all! I think that's so strange. So anyway, if anyone knows of a store that carries them, preferably brick and mortar as it's so close to Christmas, I would be so appreciative. Thanks so much for any help. Merry Christmas!

I got one for my mother for Christmas 2 years ago at Linens and Things and she still uses it every night and loves it. It was $19.99 but if you find a 20% off coupon it's even better. It still works perfectly and has five different sounds, waterfall, rainforest, ocean, thunderstorm and heartbeat, for babies. You should check there and Bed Bath and Beyond. Good Luck!

You should check Linens and Things and Bed, Bath and Beyond as well. I've seen them there before, and if you find one there you like you can use one of the 20% off coupons. Also, I know that the Kohl's here carries the iPod pillows, so you should definitely check there as well. Good luck.

So, this is the magazine subscription website that is legit and ok to order from right? I ordered Sports Illustrated for kids from one of these type websites and then I saw a post on the Deal Discussion forum that the website was no longer there and now I'm worried that I was scammed, sure it was only 4 bucks or so, but still... Anyway, this site has Game Informer for 5 bucks and that is awesome and if this is one of the good sites, I'll order it.

I definitely agree with the others who are saying you should definitely contact all who can be contacted about this issue. How dare someone put their hands on you, no matter how busy and stresseful things are she had no right to put her hands on your body. I had a situation happen to me this morning and since I don't really want to make a new thread about it, I will post it here. This morning I got to TRU at about 2:45 a.m. and I was about 12th in line. It was freezing here and had just snowed on Thanksgiving, but they had really good deals that I was in the market for. I wanted to get the PS2 with the 3 free games and the $19.99 wireless guitar for the PS2. My experience outside freezing my tush off was the most pleasant experience I had at TRU today, because I was in line with a great bunch of people. Anyway, when 4:55 a.m. rolled around a group of people got out of their cars and lined up in front of the Babies R Us entrance. We, who had been in line for hours, got really scared that they were going to open that line first but thought surely not. Well they did, they opened the BRU lines first and those people were already running across into TRU and the electronics by the time they opened our doors. So it was a mad dash once inside. I made it over to the electronics and snaked around the aisles and on the back wall were 2 shelves, a bottom shelf and the one above that one with about 7 guitars stacked on each shelf with a big white tag that said $19.99 reg. $39.99 in the middle of the two stacks. I grabbed one off the top and made my way into the ridiculous, no order whatsoever, people cutting in front of others left and right sham of a line. When I got up to the cashier I asked for the PS2 and he scanned my stuff. I had already calculated my expected total so I was shocked when the total he told me was about $50 more than I expected. I asked him if he had taken of the price of all the games and he said yes and I said, ok, and not wanting to hold up the line, I paid with a check and left the line. I looked at my receipt as soon as I got of line and noticed that I had been charged 60 bucks for the wireless guitar!!!! Well needless to say I was shocked because they were supposed to be 20. I went up to the customer service desk and talked to a girl who scanned the guitar and said the barcode numbers didn't match up so it wasn't the same guitar as in the ad. I was livid. I said there were two stacks over there with a big white tag that says 19.99. And she said there was nothing she could do besides go check and see if there were any more of those left. Obviously there were not. I said so basically what you're telling me is that someone stocked the guitars in the wrong place, and she said yes. She said all she could do was refund my money onto a gift card that I could bring back in 7 days to get cash for it. Now being 60 unexpected dollars lighter today was not in my plans, so I was really upset. I went home and my parents were surprised to see me home so early. I began to cry and told them how TRU had bascially screwed me. My mom got really upset so she and I and my sister went back up there and told the whole story again to a man who I guess was an assistant manager or something and he was nice but directed us to talk to the store manager. Now believe me when I tell you this woman was the rudest, most unprofessional, condescending store manager that I have ever had the displeasure to come into contact with. She basically told me I was wrong and lying about where the tag had been placed. She called me sweetheart instead of maam when she got annoyed with my insistence that the tag had been in the place I said it had been in, which to me dripped of condesencion, she frequently rolled her eyes and spoke very loudly embarrassing me and calling attention to us. She was very unapologetic and rude. My mom contacted another manager or something, and finally they agreed to give me back the money right then and there. I was so upset. I was out there for hours willing to spend money and they treated me like crap. We ended up going to CC and getting the GH2 bundle for a little more than we were going to spend on the game and guitar separately. I have contacted corporate headquarters and was told to be expecting a call back in about 2 business days. I swear I will never set foot in TRU again to buy something. I'm sorry, I had to vent somewhere and I figured where better than this website where I can share my experience and help others out. Thanks for listening.

So, has anyone heard anything about deals at Petsmart on BF yet? I'm keeping my fingers crossed that they have a good sale.

We have one and we love it. We have had it for a little over a year and it is still working perfectly and looks just as great as when we got it. I know it's not as fancy as the brands everyone is going crazy about, but for us it really is great. If you just want a nice t.v. that looks good and doesn't cost an arm and a leg, there's nothing wrong with the Polaroid.

Thanks, I thought that might be how it was, since there was a guitar right next to it for 29 bucks. I heard from someone who said that all the songs from both games were not on this particular bundle. So it's just as well anyway. My brother already has one guitar and at CC they will have the PS2 bundle with a wireless controller for 60 bucks. Thanks again for your help.

Darn, darn, darn! I was so with the people who were over Wal-Mart and from what a lot of people were saying prior to this list being posted I was glad I was not going to have to go there. However, I am in the market for the PS2 and that bundle seems like a pretty good deal for two controllers and a game. I know the cool things this year are the 360, PS3 and especially the Wii, so what do y'all think? Will that PS2 bundle be a hot commodity? My one saving grace in this may be that the TRU ad posted and they have a PS2 bundle with 3 free games valued at $100. So what's a better deal? I imagine I could take those 3 games to Gamestop and trade them in for some my brother wants, but I just want the best deal and would appreciate input on that. Also, is that Guitar Hero 1 and 2 bundle just the game or does that include a guitar as well? I'm kinda looking for people to talk me out of going to "the Grinch who stole Christmas", so let me know whatcha think!

I always thought that clearance items just automatically got marked down in the computer system they use or however they do their markdowns, so regardless of whether or not the actual item was out there, if it was scheduled for further markdown it would show up in the system at that price even if it had been hidden or not clearanced further. (Talk about a run-on sentence!) Anyhow, I actually didn't hide either leash, they were in the dog leash section and they were at the very bottom so I figured I would leave them there and if they were still there when I came back to check on them then it was meant to be. So, if they were scheduled for further markdown they would have done so because they were both out in the open. So, I'm thinking I'm heading back tomorrow to check again and maybe try to find someone who's a little more willing to help out a customer. Thanks again.

I just bought 2 used games at Gamestop today, Jak and Daxter and Jak II. If this sale is really something that Gamestop does, I'm going to return the two I bought today and wait a week and a half. I'll have to call tomorrow and see if anyone knows anything about that. Thanks!

I would be willing to bet that if it had been one of the CS reps that I usually see when I'm at Target (cause I am there so often) that it might have had a different outcome. I think I'll check for the leash again when I go back just to see if it's there and try my luck with someone else. Thanks again!

I have a question that maybe some of you can help me with. At my Target there were 2 retractable dog leashes for dogs up to 150 pounds that were like 25 bucks or somewhere around there. Well those two were clearanced to around $14.50 or something. I thought that was cool and figured I would wait a little while and when they went down more, snatch both of those up as I needed two dog leashes. Well the other day I went and one was gone, but the other was still there and when i took it to scan it and see how much it had gone down it said item not recognized. So I thought cool, maybe that means the price has really gone down. So i asked an employee and she told me I would need to take it up to CS and have them look it up. I took it up there and the girl was not exactly rude but she seemed standoffish and like i was totally bothering her with this. Anyway i told her the situation and told her I just wanted to know how much it was now. Well she scanned it and it said not recognized so she put in the numbers and just said, "It's still $14.xx" and like that was it. I said, "Are you sure, because I know that sometimes when the clearance price doesn't show up anymore it means it's gone salvage or something and sometimes they can be sold for even lower than that" and she just said basically that no that wasn't the case, she input the numbers and that was all there was to it. So, was she right, or should I have pressed the issue more? I really wanted that dog leash and I just can't imagine it going from 15 bucks to nothing, when higher priced items go way down if you wait long enough. Any opinions or suggestions from my fellow Target lovers would be appreciated!

I was just wondering this very thing today. We have 4 pets in our household, 2 cats and 2 dogs, and they are all very loved and spoiled and we want to get them lots of cool stuff for Christmas, especially as this will be 3 of the pets first Christmas with us and 2 of the pets first Christmas ever. There was a post in the online deals for a site called jefferspet.com that said they were going to have a 12 days of Christmas and I was very excited about that because they had a cool looking cat house/tower, which is something I've wanted to get for a while. It was going to be $45 I believe, but then i checked out the shipping and it was almost $30 which for me negates the good deal. I sure hope Petsmart does BF deals, I know I'll be there for that.
