All of my cards and ornament went out Saturday. My SS will go out today.

These cookies are good, but I refuse to pay the price for them for myself. They'd be nice to give or receive as a gift though.

My neice wants a really long scarf for Christmas. (not too wide and it has to be a solid color) Every place I have looked don't really have anything that she would consider long. She's 5'9. Does anyone have any ideas where to look? Thanks!

My kids are too little for lists (they're 3) but I doubt that I'll be asking for any in the future. I do ask my neice and nephew for their lists and try to get a couple things off of theirs. They're 18 and 21 though, so that's a little different! :)

I had gotten this idea from the other angel thread. I have a friend who is an RN at a local nursing home and I emailed her last week asking if they had a resident tree or anything like that. They just put it up over the weekend and as soon as me and the kids get over our darn colds we're heading over there to pick up a couple names. We've already got a bag of stuff to donate to toys for tots, but for some reason this really hit me as something I needed to do. I'm glad others are doing it as well.

How about sticking little books in with the packages? Sometimes I like to roll shirts and put them in cylinder packages.

I wonder if they caught on and made it invalid to things under $5 or if it's just not good anymore.

I think it came from the hasbro website..I'm not 100% sure on that though. I've had the best experience with it at Toys R Us. I've had no issues at all there. As far as Target is concerned, one I went to took it just fine. The other acted all snotty about it and didn't want to even take it and probably wouldn't have if I hadn't told them I had JUST come from a different Target and they took it with no issues at all.

Watch the clearance at Target and Wal-mart. I've seen them there a few times. Never really in the aisles for regular price, but in the clearance. Kind of weird.

What hours are you working? Could you eat A LOT of turkey on your break? That will make sure you're sleepy when you get home! Maybe it sounds weird, but orange juice always helps to wake me up if I'm super sleepy.
