There were tons of kids of all ages at Walmart. I heard some teenage boy walk by with a friend and they were saying that they were just there to sit back, watch and laugh at everybody. There was this girl standing right beside of me with a baby in the front of the buggy and one in the back. The one is the front was around 6 -8 months and the one in the back I would say was around 2 maybe. They were sharing a bottle but whatever....It was total madness where I was standing and I'm not sure how those babies came out of that but it couldn't have been very good. I never saw them after that. I personally think kids should be left at home during bf but that's just my opinion.

I got some of the Monster High dolls at Walmart which was 10 times worse than the Cabbage Patch doll experience ever was. I was ready to go after that. Didn't even wanna try for anything else. I did however want the Straight Talk phones. Found out earlier in the night that they did not get any of those. Went to another Walmart and they didn't get any either. Had sister-in-law check another Walmart and they didn't get any. Got them online along with 2 pillows. Went to a local shoe store and got dd a pair of nike shox for 21.00. Went back to Walmart around 10a.m. and got some of the cheap board games. Amazon- Got a 32 inch t.v. for $188 and GNR greatest hits cd for 2.99

Yes, they are. I've never even tried for the towels but would like to have gotten some. Dh said he would go after the towels this year and I'm sure he could have gotten plenty. He's over 6 foot so he could have just leaned over those women and got what he wanted but it's just not worth the chaos. If they want them that bad that thier willing to kill, they can have them. The same goes for those 2.88 appliances. They act just as bad over them and in my opinion, those things are junk. I got one of those choppers one year and it worked twice and that was it.

I think the best way to do Black Friday is to just put a limit on everything, even the low priced items such as the towels. That way you can get your limit of 5 or 10(whatever the limit is) and the next person can too instead of the first or second person in front of you taking 50 and then chaos and fights break out because you didn't get your 1.28 towel. If you wait until the last miute to roll in for whatever you came for, that's your loss but at least with the limit you will know if you have a chance or not. Putting a limit on everything just seems safer to me.

I was on the waitlist quite a few times yesterday and was picked. The first time yesterday was for the $188 t.v. I saw the box up in the corner after scrolling up and it said something about I had missed the deal. Later on, it came up again and it was available for me to purchase so I got it. I got the Mr. Coffee(I think that was it) but chose not to take it. There was a few other things too but I didn't take them either. Oh and you pretty much have to keep it on Amazon if your on the waitlist and you wanna try and get that item.

I totally agree. I believe the early sales had alot to do with how crazy it was this year.

Same here. I think I will be doing all of my bf shopping online from here on. I have never in all the years of going out for bf seen it like this. It just blows my mind still thinking about it. I got hit in the eye with a Monster High doll box. I have no idea who it was though because people acted like total idiots over those things. I don't know for sure but I hear there was a fight over the towels again this year at my local Walmart.

You are absolutely right, very aggressive. I mean seriously Walmart is a mad house every year but this year was beyond crazy. I honestly think this has changed my mind for future bf shopping at Walmart. They need to go back to the 5a.m. sale next year, that way some of the crazies may stay home and keep thier kids in bed. Wow, I didn't think it could get any worse than years before but boy was I wrong.

I've been here 5 years as well and hope to be here another 5. I have saved money and found many great deals thanks to this site. It's costing hubby money though and I don't think he likes that too well.

Just got back from Walmart. They already have thier toys out with the employees wrapping them with wrapping paper. I saw one lady with those dress up trunks in her buggy. I wonder if she will get by with checking out with those. They did not have these wrapped up yet. All of the pallets were side by side, some wrapped and some had not been wrapped yet. There was a paper taped to them saying what was underneath. Can't beleive thier putting some stuff out this early.

I am never lucky enough to get any of these at Walmart on BF. Those women do not want to share at all, they just shovel them in thier buggies.

I will be picking up a couple of the Straight Talk phones this year. We got 3 of the phones that they had last year BF and we're still using them. No contract with these phones, $45 unlimited talk, text and internet, $30 for 1000 minutes, 1000 text and limited internet, excellent service coverage(for my area anyways)....can't go wrong with these phones in my book.

I don't know what's so special about them but my son has said thier the best. I got him one for Chirsitmas last year(was on sale for $89) at amazon.com. He set on it and broke it 3 days after Christmas. I do believe they will go a bit cheaper though. As I said, Amazon had the wireless one(ps3) for $89 last year.

Are you talking about the Barbie Dream Townhouse? If so, I think this will be alot cheaper in a month or so. I bought this back in 2009(Nov.28th to be exact) from Amazon for $99.

I thought it was perfect for my DD9 as well with it being her first computer. She liked it for the first couple of days but then started complaining about how slow and small it was. Her b-day was in February so she got a laptop and her dad got her netbook,lol.
