You know, karma works both ways. Maybe that woman just lost her job or had a house fire, (or in my case) a flood and lost everything, and they only way she was going to be able to get a tree for next year is if she got it now at such a cheap price. Probably not, but maybe. You had no need for the tree, and you were being mean because she was being mean. WOW. Karma does work both ways... and when I lost EVERYTHING in a flood, I personally was grateful for any kindness shown me. I didn't go around with a chip on my shoulder, it wasn't anyone else's fault. I think if she had been a little nicer the whole situation would have played out differently. The bottom line is even when you have a bad day, the way you treat people will always come back to you.

Does anyone know when the toy clearance will be? I'm wondering if it will depend on the store, kind of like the markdowns on the Christmas.... I only have one teenager, and one niece, but loads of cousin's kids to buy for next Christmas so I would love to be able to find a few more things to put away for later...

Thanks! My Target went 90% off this Saturday morning, sadly not a lot left. I am so jealous of you all that had stores that had items being pulled from the back, or those that are able to go to more than one store. On a brighter note I did manage to find 3 20 minute Sorry games .99 a piece, one "just in case" connect 4 game 1.99 and one Cranium Pop game for 2.49. I was so excited, These games were all in the regular toys aisles, but thanks to you all I knew they were going to scan 90% off!!!! I also went ahead and stocked up on Christmas cards.... who can resist at that price?

Is the Cranium pop game a travel game? Our target store is so small I don't even remember seeing games in the holiday area?

Christmas clearance still 75% off today, even though we went early by some schedules - not much left... but still holding out for the 90%, hope it comes soon! Loads of toys on clearance, but the majority still scanning at 30%-

our local Lowes actually went 75% off of the remaining Christmas merchandise on Dec 26. I noticed they did this last year, so I was prepared this year.... actually managed to pick up a few nice items, where last year I missed out.

[ In their defense, the local employees are trying to work with a broken system and you can often find very good deals on their website (just choose home delivery!). Choosing home delivery is not a good option either. Tried it and fought with them for a month for a refund on a item that I never received.

I had preordered the Guitar Hero 3 for the Wii system from CC for my ds. I was emailed a tracking number from their warehouse on Oct 29th. It was supposedly on a pallet that was delievered to my local post office on Nov 5. The post office did accept the pallet, but this individual piece was never scanned out for home delievery. The post master is a family friend so I feel fairly certain he is telling me the truth when he says this item wasn't on the pallet. They can only track by pallet numbers (this particular pallet had 188 items on it) until they are scanned out for home delievery at the post office. I started arguing with CC on the 8th of November. (all I wanted was a refund, or another item mailed) I am talking calling the 800 number two or three times a week, (that lands you on the phone with someone in India) each time I was assured that they would process a refund to my credit card within 72 hours. Never happened. A few times they even went as far as to give me a bogus case number. I would suggest writing down EVERYTIME that you talk with someone, get their employee number if possible. Then I started to going into the store, with all my documentation.... it took me going in 3 times.... and really showing my butt the last time, but I finally got my credit card credited back the payment on November 30th. The moral of the story - you can not let up on CC for a minute. Stay on them, or you will NEVER get anywhere. I will never deal with them again.

When are they supposed to come out at BK? Our local one is still doing the Sponge Bob thing.

I found Shrek 3 PC game for $4.98 (org. 19.99), Spiderman 3 PC game $7.48 (org 29.99) and Call of Duty 2 PC game for $4.98 (org 19.99) last night. My DS is getting a lappie for Christmas so he will enjoy these!

I was in line for 3 hours last year at CC on bf and I swore I never would go back through the doors. I haven't been... I preordered Guitar Hero 3 for the Wii system from them (mainly because of the free shipping, and the free guitar stand) had it shipped to my home. Still wouldn't have to go through the doors to the store. Guess what? I have the stand, but no guitar hero 3. The post office claims they never got it... I have been fighting with Circuit City for close to a month now for a refund... NEVER AGAIN!

I saw 2 guys loading a bunch of these on flat carts at the local Sam's earlier. Looks like those were heading to ebay.

I hate to be the one to say it - but ebay is about the cheapest you are going to find Jason's (Witten) jersey. Jason is a hometown boy, and it's hard for even us to find a good deal on one. The last one I got my son I bought off ebay and I think I paid around $35.00 shipping and all. My son got him to sign it about 3 weeks ago when Jason was home (bye week for the Cowboys).

I am so excited. I ordered this system (with XP) last nite for my ds. My christmas shopping for him is officially over!!!! THANKS BRAD!
