All of what made EBgames great was lost in the merger. the whole gamestop mentality was downloaded into EBgames brain-housing group. I am hoping that Best Buy goes ahead with their plans to sell used games next year.

the remote for the PS2 is $1.99 at Compusa. A testament to many a parent saying no to dvd watching on the console.

They have a golden opportunity to outshine Officemax with their ad, so we'll see.

EBgames is now just a gamestop puppet(MERGER). Gone are the PC game deals of the past, especially the used ones. DON'T EXPECT TOO MUCH FROM THESE GUYS!

Last year, they had MP3 players, dvd players, and stereos that were new, and extremely inexpensive. This varied by store, of course.:)

You may want to hold off on the PS3 right now. Early reports have them overheating. This is a serious issue, unlike the XBOX issue from last year, which had to deal with those units that were kept in pooly ventilated places. Reps from EB games are anticipating quite a few returns, and will be directing customers to deal with Sony directly on this one. On a brighter note, the WII console looks to be a real winner:yup:
