My neighbor is a Postal Mail Carrier and they make them up every year for kids. You might want to check with your local post office to see if they have something going on there. I hope this helps a little.

I gave my son cologne, chap-stick..with the clipon to go on his bookbag, snack size candy that he could throw in bookbag, cd's, gloves, hat, trading cards, small model kit,paintbrushes..or something to do what his favorite hobby.

I like to have the lights on my tree flashing, but my Husband says it looks like a Neon Sign. But this year, its a Flashing tree, because its my turn to pick.

My family always meet christmas eve early for a nice dinner somewhere. Each year, everyone takes a turn to pick where they want to go, and then we meet at that persons house to exchange gifts. We all go dutch with our families, and its been a nice Christmas Eve for years. Whoever's turn it is to pick the place to eat, always tries to pick a place that has everyone's likes on the menu. Its worked out Great.

A gift Certificate at a Book Store, Steak House, Pizza Hut. Teachers are so Busy, and they Love Food Gift Certificates, that way they can get what they want.

I think Christmas is for the kids, and on Christmas morning, the kids like to play with their new things. I had this problem years ago, so I have the inlaws come to my house on Christmas, if they dont have kids. Its much easier for them..and its for the Kids anyways...not a control thing. My son missed out on a Couple of Christmas's of being home, from running around all Christmas Day to Divorced Parents. I had to put my foot down..and let them Know the Next Years..they can come and visit on Christmas Day, so the kids can have their Christmas. Yes they tried to push the issue..but I stuck to my guns. At least my son had Christmas at home for a few years.

Thrusday was my vote...but anytime for me.

Where does she go most often to shop? Does she belong to a club or have some hobbies? I'd say get something from a place she likes to shop. I know my in-laws..or should I say out-laws..had something smart every year of what I bought them for christmas. I was never accepted by my husbands family after 20 years, so I gave up. My last presents to them...was a Bible with their Name on it. Never heard another word.

I usually go out the Day After, but just to browse and see what I can find. I usually wait until the end of Feb...to get the Big Clearence Deals. My family calls me the Clearance Queen, because I seek and find the Awesome Deals.

A Coulple years ago, I was stumped on what to get my dad for christmas, since he's 70 yrs old and had everything. I saw an office Max ad for a personalized Calendar, with a diff pic for each month.( You can add several pic's, as long as they fit on the page). I gathered up some pictures of my brother and I when we were young, and even put on the cover a few pic's when my dad when he was young and spunky! He loved it, and just showed off the Calendar to everyone.I was suprised, since he doesnt get excited about anything. So for those who doesnt know what to get that special person for christmas, one of these Personalized Calendars are great, and not another one like it. Just thought I would pass along the idea for others. Some ideas would be pic's of their favorite place, like a getaway, vacation, pics of friends and the fun, remembering the past fun times the family had together, or their favorite hobby, etc....on and on. Hope this helps a few out.

No way do I feel bad. Hey if it saves me money, Im ready!! I shop all year around for chritmas, and any time I can find a deal or ahead of the game, I feel Great!

If I got to best buy or Circuit City, I'm waiting at least 45 min to check out, so Im gonna see if I can get the online deals before having to go to those 2 stores.
