  1. This is the all day Friday deal right? So I can go at midnight on Thursday night and get it?
  2. I found that one the other day too, but my virus protection stopped it and I've run three scans since. It's scary.
  3. I plan on checking out Old Navy on turkey day and trying things on and probably calling OM to see what their procedure is for tickets/lines but that will be on Wednesday. I will also be traveling on Weds.
  4. Great deal, break that sucker out and decorate it! I've got 3 of my trees up now and am loving it. Congrats.
  5. I put the main tree up today and now my 11 year old is decorating it.
  6. I put up a tree in my bedroom this morning. I'm going to try and get the tree up in my girls room today and have hubby at least get the stuff out of our basement so I can remember what all I've got. My goal is to have the inside of my house completely decorated by next weekend and do the outside the Sunday after turkey day.
  7. I'd love to hear more about this rumored $99 netbook. That made my jaw drop. Other than that, nothing is spectacular.
  8. No free turkeys here but my hubby eats turkey for a month, then gives parts to the cats and dogs.
  9. My favorites are A Christmas Story and Christmas Vacation, but I must admit, I love just about all Christmas movies that come on tv, even the cheesy ones.
  10. DD11 netbook Liv doll clock for her ipod ugg boots (big maybe) gift cards: hollister, abercrombie, claire's, itunes DD7 (this one has low functioning autism so her toys are "younger") zhu zhu's - all 4 hamsters and the playhouse play kitchen american girl doll knockoff from walmart or target board games I need to start thinking about stocking stuffers too.
  11. Mine is getting Xbox 360 games, clothes, and a couple of other little things. We are keeping it small this year since we have a HUGE field trip and braces to pay for DD #1.
  12. All of our stuff goes in the basement, except DH's. I keep his locked in my office. My kids are terrified of our basement, so it works.
  13. Thanks Brad. I don't see anything too exciting.
  14. I will be in Niceville for Turkey Day this year. I guess I'll have to hit Kmart.
  15. Last year I wrapped before Christmas Eve and put the gifts under the tree. My girls went nuts. So this year I think I will do the same thing, I might actually get started next weekend wrapping.
  16. I usually put mine up Thanksgiving weekend and take it down the second weekend in Jan. This year I think I will get at least 2 of the trees up the weekend before thanksgiving.
  17. My 11 year old DD is getting a laptop, ugg boots, a Liv doll (she wants it), and gift cards to Abercrombie, Hollister, Claire's, Walmart, McDonalds, and a clock for her ipod. I will probably get her a bunch of twilight stuff too, she's a twilight freak.
  18. I collect the Dept 56 Christmas Story set. I want to get the moose mugs from Christmas Vacation too, but haven't started that yet.
  19. Two years ago I took my then 9 year old daughter out for the very first time. I'll never forget the look of sheer terror in her eyes when the plastic was pulled off the pallets and the frenzy started. She was a champ though, after the initial shock, and jumped in and got herself and her little sister a doorbuster Barbie. Last year she was a seasoned pro running all over the store getting dealbusters while I waited in line for a camera. We started our tradition of hitting Walmart, then going for breakfast and eventually ending the day with a movie at the theatre. She loves it and is counting down the days til this year. Since she's getting a laptop this year, maybe next year I'll introduce her to Gotta Deal.
  20. Another vote for those crappy walmart pajamas from last year.
  21. I usually hit up Walmart first, then Walgreens, then to our little mall to see what's there. This year I may drive to Old Navy and do some shopping for myself.
  22. I'm looking for a laptop for my 11 year old and a couple of cheap flat screen smaller tv's for bedrooms.
  23. I did, DD was born Dec 20th so I was very pg, but where I live is typically calm and I wasn't after items that would have cause a frenzy.
  24. Either Birmingham, AL or Destin, FL. I haven't quite decided yet.
  25. I had a great Black Friday. It started wednesday night at Gymboree getting the doorbuster coats for $14 and then thursday a little Aeropostle online shopping. DD (10 yo) and I headed out friday for walmart a little after 4am. I found a parking place near the front and went in. We grabbed a cart and I put DD in the camera line. She was 10th in line and I knew it would be safe for her to wait there. Then I went and scoped out the other things I wanted. I went back and spelled DD and she headed for the toys. I managed to grab the 3 in 1 printer and blu ray w/o losing my spot in line for the camera. DD grabbed the Littlest Pet Shop she wanted and brought it back to the cart. Then I sent her out and she grabbed 12 of the 1.50 towels and the $15 stand mixer. After that she went back to toys to grab the playdoh canister and aquadoodle mat for DD#2. During this whole time, the camera register wasn't open, so I wasn't moving. Finally it opened and I got the Big Zoom camera, bag, and 4gb card. Paid for those and we headed to the front of the store for the coat and pajama deal. The coats were gone, but I did get a couple of sets of pajamas for DD #2. We paid there and went to get breakfast, then headed to Walgreens. DD grabbed 6 of the Lil Kinz and I got the B1G1F potted pre lit trees. Those suckers went in about 10 seconds. It was crazy. From there we headed to Bath and Body Works. I stood in line for about 10 minutes w/o it moving at all and decided that it was worth paying shipping. So we headed home and I jumped online and ordered the things I wanted from B&BW. Around noon we headed back to walmart and I found a couple of the $8 coats - yay! DD picked up another LPS and the fleece sleep pants. Then we ended our day by going to see Twilight. Today is DH's day to shop, I hope he has as much fun as DD and I did yesterday, it was great.
