??? Walmart is the only store that sells RCA??? I just did a quick web check, Best Buy, Circuit City and Kmart all sell RCA tvs also.

It all depends on what happens with secret 8 items. If there is a laptop or desktop for $298 that is what I want, if my "shopper" is able to get one. I do have a desktop on layaway, but even with the extra 10% we get, $298 is still less than what it would cost for the one in layaway with 20% off. If not, then there really isn't anything big. And most of the stuff is just regular tab, the activity walker for my grandson that isn't born yet (can't leave him out), the diego game, a flash drive, the stick vac. Just some of the little stuff.

Another side to this is that they may have been doing it in anticipation of the extra 10% we get off of one item at Christmas. And since LAW being closed they probably just wanted to get them on LAW before it was done. Believe me, "regular" associates DO NOT know ahead of time when something is going to be knocked down in price. Most of the time I really don't think management knows either. Possibly District or regional management, but at the store level, no. Most everyone I work with found out the regular BF deals ONLINE way before we were finally even allowed to see the ad, which was last Thursday. Of course by then everyone already knew what was going to be on sale. At my store you are absolutely not allowed to hoard anything OR get any of the BF deals ahead of the customers, or while you are working etc. That is grounds for termination.

I have to be there for 4:30 so I can't do either one. But someone that doesn't start until later has volunteered to shop for a few of us who can't.

Yeah, I would double check on that. Ask someone else, the person at CS was probably wrong.

I wouldn't count on that. Rollbacks come down through the system, and dept. managers have to "work them". They also have to count each item before they accept the new price. Then they would have to print new price labels, etc.There would be absolutely no way there would be any time to do rollbacks on Friday. If there are going to be any new rollbacks it would have to happen tomorrow.

It all depends on what it is. Computers/accessories are 15 days. Cameras are 30 days. Most other stuff is 90.

This is only a guess, but I think Walmart as a whole may have gotten more than Best Buy, BUT there are a LOT more Walmart Stores overall than there are Best Buy Stores, So 'til they divided them up throughout all the stores there weren't as many per store. Our Store got 6, some got a little more, some a little less. (Some didn't get any).

If the store does not carry it, it is not going to be on file. In other words when they scan it, they will not be able to get any information on it, including price. If you do not have the receipt they are not going to be able to return it. And if it has been opened, they will not take it back, except for an exchange of the same exact thing.

Don't get too excited. I can almost guarantee that the one you have on LAW and the one for BF are not the same one. At the very least they will have two different UPC numbers.

It's funny, on Friday my toy DM said about the same thing. These just sat on the shelf and no one wanted them, then they saw them on TV and now everyone wants one. When I tell them I'm out, they look at me like I'm out of my mind.
