Wow.. that does suck. If It were me, DD would be getting a job and helping pay off that loan FAST. For right now, be thankful that she is alive and not seriously hurt. I've watched 10 teenagers get killed in the last 2 weeks on the news. Seems like every day or so, there is another wreck and someone is killed. There was one last night and 2 girls are clinging to life, not sure of how they're doing this morning. So this week, just give thanks.. and next week, tell DD to get to work. :)

Easiest way to "avoid" family feuds.. is to avoid going at all. Kinda sucks, but at least you'll still have your sanity. Well unless they're all coming to your house, then your a sitting duck. Just load up on a lot of alcohol! (JK, kinda)

When we went last year.. they give you the tickets for the doorbusters as your lined up in line, about an hour before doors open. (again, you gotta be early or your not gettin them) About the TV, I dont believe they're going to have those lying around.. But we did buy one last year, and you have to tackle a sales assoc., and dont leave his side! Probably best to prepick-out your tv so you can get to the register quicker. He'll give you a printed paper and then you take that to the register and pay, then someone will help you load it into your vehicle.

I agree, I dont know if I"m coming or going at this point. Everything is starting to look the same with the posts, and I just know I"m missing something. Usually I'm not 100% on what I'm doing till I have the ads are physically in front of me, so I guess I'll be busy thanksgiving. :)

I agree.. a dozen is more like it. (depending on if we have 60+ people signed up, then maybe the 1 cookie will have to do.. LOL) But it would be kinda hard to justify the shipping on 1 cookie.

Oh Illinoismom.. I'm sorry your going thru all that. Thats an awful lot to have to go thru in a normal month of the year, let alone the next month or so. I'll be praying for ya, that everything turns out well. Try to just do what you can, and let the rest go. Spend time with family and try not to stress over the small stuff, like cookies and a decorated home. Is there someone that could help out or maybe take over the elderly dinner for a week or two? And recruit that Hubby to clean and get the decorations out. good luck and take care of yourself. (you dont need to get yourself sick)

We went to CC last year, and were in line for literally hours. It was awful. I would only go back when/if they were giving stuff away. LOL Sucks, cuz when you get out of there, every other store you go to has already been ransacked and your left with nothing in the way of doorbusters. Hopefully they got new registers and got this worked out.
