Our candy went 75 but everything else was still only 75 too. Was hoping the costumes would have went 90! All the good ones are almost gone! Did find some of the raisins in with the others for .99c That was my only find......Not much left...pretty picked over. -
I'm in too! How can you tell how many fans they are up to? I don't see the numbers?

I had to click on CHICAGO to get it to come up for me, up where it says visit other cities or something like that. The coupon when it prints says Redeem at all Build-A-Bear loctions. Doesn't restrict to Chicago......It also states you can use it online! -

I got some hand towels for 1.xx and didn't need the bath sized ones but most of them were marked 2.xx. I needed bath rugs and the really nice ones I wanted FINALLY went 75 off and were 4.xx and 3.xx. I had been stalking those for weeks! Will come in handy when we are ready to sell our house so I was happy to not pay full price. I've seen two people now mention the toy story leap frog jr ringing up 19.99. Anyone else finding this. All our stores have them marked full price/ringing full price. -

Ours finally went 75. (candy still 50) Didn't have many toys left, tons of costumes and lights. Got a few of those-finally marked down the rest of the towels and bath rugs and I needed those so with the colors still available, took care of two bathrooms so lots of deals today! It's been a while so I am very happy to find some deals. Finally found the toy coupon books too! -
I went to sign up for it right after I got the email too and the theatre closest to me is on the opposite side of town. Not worth the money to drive clear over there but worth it for someone who does live near there (plus it's a week night). Will just wait to see it when it's closer.

Our store had the candy 30 off, costumes and decor were 50, however the small toys like pet shops, slinkys, and stuff like that were only 30 off today, not 50 like in the past. I found that odd. They had a TON of that stuff too. Was looking for paper towels but didn't find any, found a bunch of napkins though. Watch the items when you pay as some items aren't ringing up on clearance. Luckily I noticed before I left....... Back to the coupon thing, I have had trouble with all sorts of coupons, not just the 1 off multiples. They have been attaching to the totally wrong item that isn't even the same manufacturer or anything. Really odd. And by that happening, it doesn't give you the full amount off as it adjusts the coupons down (or the cashier does just to get it to take it.) I try not to use too many at one time anymore. -

In regards to using coupons at target, they had a news story here (I only caught part of it) about target coupons not ringing correctly and if you knew that yours didn't, to go back to the stores and they will give a refund. Not sure how you can prove it though, what the coupons were and how they rang up. With my latest purchases, coupons are attaching to the wrong items and I can't hardly even tell what goes with what anymore. They story said something about Target is aware of the coupon problem and working to resolve it. Hmmmmmm interesting. Seems like they have had problems with that for a LONG time. I went over the weekend and every coupon popped up a screen to verify the amount of the item before accepting the coupon. Took forever to checkout. And in regards to using the coupon on the olay product that was a double pack, they were explaining it to one woman that you can only use it on a single item and not a double pack. I know I have used them before on double packs and it worked just fine, but then you have those that refuse to let you so I guess it's a ymmv thing..... -

HELP with New ways to celebrate christmas when there is a loss in the family
1angelnhvn replied to nnmfam's topic in 2010
I am so sorry for your loss. It will definitely be hard to figure out what to do. First and foremost, put yourself and your children first. My daughter died just before she was to be born 7 years ago. The following two Christmas's I was determined to take care of me, my DH, and my other living children. The rest of my family couldn't understand but it was something we had to do to be able to survive the holidays and get through them. I couldn't spend my tiime worrying about what they all thought or if they got mad at me. Don't commit to anything so you don't have to feel guilty about canceling if you don't feel up to it. It is so tough to go through the holidays right after a loss like that and it will take time before you find the joy like you did before as you work through your grief. I agree with the pp's who said to talk to your children about what they might like to do and come to an agreement together. We still celebrated and decorated and such, just on a much smaller scale than past years and didn't do as much outside of our home as we had before. And while there are also others who are going through the loss of him as well, it's time for you to be selfish and put you and your children first. I also love releasing balloons to my daughter as well and is a great idea if you live somewhere that they will float. We do this often and is so healing for us even now. It took us two holiday seasons before we found a 'new normal' for our family. We spend alot of time at the cemetary decorating and the children love to help with that. It will definitely be a different 'type' of holiday season for you this year....again, I'm so sorry for your loss. -
I remembered this coupon when I read the title only I didn't realize it didn't expire till the 23rd, dang it! Oh well! I thought it was one day only! Guess I'll pay attention next time! :)
