I tried using it and each time it said available they would search high and low when I got to the store with none to be found and an explanation of how the website is not accurate. I definitely wouldn't count on it. If it's not a clearance item, would they hold it for you if you called? I've never tried it before so wasn't sure if they do this or not? I've also gone and looked when the site says unavailable or out of stock and when I get there they have it. Not dependable at all.

Were the ziploc, saran wrap, and napkins ringing 75 off?

I stopped on my way in to work this morning and was happy to find a white tree with multi lights for my daughter's room next year (a small 4 ft one). When I went to pay, it rang up full price? The girl was hesitant about taking the 75% off? What in the world? It was regularly 25$, not like it was a 200$ item! They were treating me like I was trying to pull one over on them! Everything rang up right but that! UGH! It's always an adventure shopping at walmart! Watch everything when you are being rung up though! THere were a ton of items that were Christmasy that weren't rining up on sale at all. Glad I didn't try to get that stuff or I would have really been late to work! They had like 4 boxes of colgate toothpast and brushes in the 75% off aisle also not ringing up! There were even employees straightening up the toothpaste in that very aisle that left the stuff there even though it wasn't supposed to be there. Makes no sense to me. Luckily, this store had a scanner and I checked everything I got (except the tree of course). Makes for a long checkout process for both parties!

And just to add, I have bought plenty of stuff at Target and other stores that have been expired when I purchased them. (sodas have been the worst) For the most part, I just throw it away because I don't want them thinking I took it home and switched it with old product I had in my house for a long time and sometimes, it's just not worth the fight to me when you go back to switch it. It does happen though because it has happened to me more than once. I try to be more aware now and check the dates before buying.

Our stores seem like they have taken most of them out. You have to go ask a cashier to check the price if you need it. Most of ours still at least have one, somewhere, but even then, it's difficult to get the items to even scan and if you have multiple items, it takes forever.

As much as I hate going there, I did get some deals last year. Has anyone been this week? How much off is their stuff marked down? I can't find the thread from last year where I posted about it to try and figure out when it might go lower?

Stores here still at 75. The store I went to this morning had little to nothing but junk left. Did have a cute tree in a pot I wouldn't mind having but still more than I wanted to pay! Would take it at 90 though but doubt it will still be there! Did find some of the plastic disney plates though with a Christmasy theme and found one box of granola bars in the regular aisle. They were really good at all my local stores at finding the stuff in the regular aisles this year! Found a boxed set of Christmas Disney Cars (there were like 5 or 6 cars in the box) but they were still ringing up with the regular toys 30% off! bummer! Thought I was going to get a deal. Pretty much a wasted trip out this morning.

The only white trees our stores carried were the 6 1/2 foot ones. We were looking all over for a 7 1/2 foot and 6 1/2 seemed to be the magic size everywhere. We did get one last week for next year though, but still paid a pretty penny for it!

Bummer, our targets here didn't have any 7 1/2 foot white trees!!!!!!!!!!!! (at least, not that I could ever find) I would have bought that in a second! Hope they still have one when you go back! They seem to be in high demand around here.

Yes, it's free money but it was a VERY misleading way to get people to spend more than they would have. Only about half of what I bought during this earn 10% promotion was a good 'deal' when I bought it. The rest I only bought because I was counting on the 10% back to buy my daughter her birthday present. I definitely would NOT have bought as much had I known they were going to do this. It was never spelled out this is how they were going to do it, just that you would get your 10% back in January. I will definitely go use mine even if I have to buy a gift bag with it or greeting card.

Ok, I went on the website and logged in to my rewards and found a big paragraph that basically says they can do anything they want to with the program and can alter it in any way whatsoever (they had more words for it but that's my summary) My question is, who do we complain to. I know with companies like this it won't do any good, but it will make me feel much better to voice my 2c's on the matter! I tried the contact us feature but don't see an option for the rewards program nor do I see on the rewards website? Anyone else have an idea? Like I said, all it's doing is making me buy smaller items instead of the big stuff I would have so basically I still get to use their money they give me that I earned, just not as much of my own cash.

I just don't get it. IN the past they never did this and my plan was to use all of mine to get a large item. All this will do is encourage me to buy smaller items and not spend so much. So basically they are just shooting themselves in the foot in my case. I would have spent much more but because of this, I will just buy something that is not as big. I'm irritated by the whole thing really. I'm glad they gave extra, but I really wouldn't have spent as much had I known this was the way it was going to go.

We are traveling now and just left the Lexington (Man'O War location) and it's still at 50! I even scanned some stuff! I was so excited and was hoping it was signed wrong! Bummer! I was amazed at how much stuff they did still have. I didn't buy anything except some christmas tree brownies. (needed those like a hole in the head) So I'm hoping my store in Indy is still at 50 and I can make 75 tomorrow! I saw a fellow GDer post that the Nora store is still 50 off so keeping my fingers crossed my store is also!

Well, I just got mine. Some are good through 1/14 and then some are only good from 1/15-1/29. What the heck is up with that? It also says: Congratulations! Here are your rewards & exclusive deals! The Rewards below reflect earnings on purchases made from 10/31/10 through 12/12/10. Rewards earned from 12/13/10 through 12/24/10 will be emailed on or about 1/14/11. HUH????? They also split them up in $5 and $6 increments and partial expiring 1/14 and the rest expiring 1/29. I know I earned more after 12/12 so will be interesting. Don't see anything on mine preventing you from using them all at the same time, except of course the expiration date. I had planned on using them all on a birthday present for my daughter, guess not now.

I ended up getting one at Garden Ridge today. They weren't 75 though, they were still 150 so only 50 percent off! Bummer! But to tell ya the truth, I'm sick of hunting for them so I went ahead and got it! Will probably go down tomorrow knowing my luck but that's ok! My peace of mind is worth it! HAHAHA! I've been looking for a White Christmas Tree on clearance that is a 7.5 foot tall or larger one. I can find the 6.5 ft ones everywhere but we need taller! Anyone have any ideas? I dont' want to pay a fortune. They must sell really well because the websites I have found them on have been mostly still selling them for full price....hmmmm.

Well that's really aggrivating with the amount of money I spend there that I didn't get one. Bummer!

Does your receipt show both the target coupon AND the manu coupon coming off? Mine shows just the manu coupon! I didn't notice but I don't think the target coupon came off! (i know better than to not check the receipt before I leave the store!) Just wondered if it shows the $10 coming off twice??

WOW! I just bought one about 3 days ago. If I take the coupon and my receipt will they give me the money back?

Saw two white wii's in Indy at the west 38th street store if anyone is still looking. Marked 139ish I believe......on the endcap (one of the only clearance endcaps in the entire store)

WOW! That's awesome! I went to my walmart and they had four still in the case. I had to get white! The guy said since the ad said limited quantities, they aren't really supposed to match the price but he did it anyway. Hmmmm I didn't care as long as I get one. My DD has been talking about getting one for a year now so was happy to get it and save a little. Would they let me take it back and exchange it I wonder? Hmmmm....
