  1. I received an email from qvc (I spend A LOT of money with them). I think it's a great deal and I will be definately using it. I hope it works for others. I have never seen any "discount code" but to have an option to be billed in 5 installments, I will be using. You can actually use this twice. Make sure you read the terms for all the information and how to use this twice. Good luck. The email states the following: This VIP certificate entitles you to pay for one new item with a purchase price of $50 or more in five payments billed to your major credit card or QCard® (see details below). Best of all: this offer can be used twice -- for one item now (good through the end of the year) and then again in January to kick off 2009 in style -- literally*. Give us a call at 800-345-1515 or go to www.QVC.com/Thanksgiving to redeem this offer. TERMS AND CONDITIONS *This Easy Pay on Request offer cannot be used for prior purchases or with any other Easy Pay, Deferred Pay, or Free Shipping and Handling promotions. This Easy Pay on Request offer can be used with credit card purchases only. This offer is limited to one new item with a purchase price of $50 or more before shipping & handling and taxes are applied, per each Promotion Period. This Easy Pay on Request offer will divide the purchase price, shipping & handling, and tax of each applicable credit card purchase into fïve payments. This offer cannot be reused if an item purchased under the terms of this offer is returned. If you would like to use this offer on QVC.com, go to www.QVC.com/Thanksgiving and use the regular Check-Out to place your order. This offer cannot be used with QVC's Automated Telephone Ordering System or with Speed Buy® on QVC.com. Easy Pay on Request is limited to one Easy Pay on Request purchase per customer, per each Promotion Period. This offer is not valid on auto-delivery items. This offer cannot be used towards the purchase of a QVC gift certificate, or any item sold through a third-party Web site linked to QVC.com. Promotion Periods: One Easy Pay on Request offer is valid now through December 31, 2008. A second Easy Pay on Request offer is valid January 1 through January 31, 2009.
  2. Toys R Us refused to take the printable coupon. They (even the store manager, Sharon) tried to tell me that the coupon (even though it was a manufacturers coupon) because it was printed online could only be used at the Disney Store. Then when I told her to read the coupon and that it doesn't state that specific store, she tried to tell me that, "it can't be used in conjunction with our sale (2 for $30.00)". I told her that there was a coupon (which is the same as the printable directly on the Camp Rock DVD) that states $10.00 off the purchase of 2 now. I told her to note the word, "NOW". She then said I could use that coupon but not the printable one. Hello...Dingaling, what's the difference? Anyway, I was able to get both for $30.00 less the $10.00 coupon and the cashier gave me a 20% off any 1 item coupon. Final total less discounts and including tax was $18.54. I used a gift card that I had (so really it had cost me nothing). I have them hidden as it's getting to close to birthdays and holidays to just give it to them. But I am excited. I even took one of my sons for a haircut today (Great Clips) and used their coupon for $6.99 and even got a Camp Rock and Hannah Montana poster. The poster was free with the $6.99 haircut coupon. :)
  3. I have the DVR service with Comcast and I pay $13.90 per month (just one dvr). I felt only one dvr was needed as the other rooms only need regular receivers. I wish I could get the &7.95 per month. Maybe they did a price increase for newbies (I only have comcast for a few months now). In any event, I love the dvr. I wish I had it sooner.
  4. Good morning, Would you happen to know which states are being removed from the "interest free" option? When I clicked the link in the post, it only took me to a credit application. Did I miss something? Thanks.
  5. It was in the flyer (a couple of weeks ago) for $119. This weeks flyer is $129. I guess I shouldn't have waited either. I really need one. Oh well, I'll keep waiting. LOL
  6. Went to my walmart today after tru which I went for because of the fisher price b1g1free sale. Didn't get anything on that sale because I felt the prices were high. Figured I would check out walmart. I can't believe it. What I wanted at tru I found on clearance at walmart. Fisher Price Stride to Ride Walker $49.99 at TRU. $49.96 at Walmart but then clearanced down to $25.00. Fisher Price Sit to Stand Giraffe $44.99 at TRU. $44.96 at walmart then clearanced to $21.00 but rang up 15.00. Fisher Price Sesame Street Pizza Elmo $29.99 at TRU. $29.96 at walmart then clearanced to $17.00 but rang up $11.00. V-Tech Bear $39.99 at TRU. $39.96 at walmart but then clearanced to $21.00 but rang up $13.00. I found a "my first valentine's day" bib that comes with a rattle. It was priced $3.00 and I expected to pay $1.50 for it. OMG, it rang up $0.75 cents. I have the first halloween bib, first thanksgiving, first hanukkah, first christmas and now first valentine's. The baby will never wear them but I want them for keepsakes. I plan on getting first passover, first easter, etc. I can't believe my finds. :eyepoppin Hubby keeps saying that I shouldn't get all this stuff because (1) we have no room and (2) the baby is to small to play with them (he's 5 months old). He doesn't understand that when the baby will play with them, it would cost me more to buy them then. What can I say...I didn't marry the brightest bulb. LMAO I plan on going back tomorrow when he's at work and not with me nagging me. And men say women nag. LOL My hubby is the worst.
  7. Went to my TRU yesterday (2/16) and they were out of stock on them and they were not issuing any rainchecks. When I got home, I called Best Buy (after I saw that online it said that my local store had it in stock) to ask them to hold one for me and I would be right down. Phillip (the guy on the phone) said he would hold it for me at customer service. I got halfway there when my husband called me and told me that Best Buy called and said that they can't hold it because they are not selling any until today (2/17). He said that whatever they had in the store was being held for this weeks advertisement. WHAT???? Nice try. I continued to Best Buy and as soon as I got there, I went right to their computer area and used their computer go to bestbuy.com and placed my order online and used the store pick up option. They still didn't want to release the guitar hero for wii but since my order was already accepted and it showed in stock they had no choice. I then handed them the TRU flyer to get the price adjustment (which they did). It turns out that the only reason was because they didn't want to match the TRU price so if I would've waited until today (2/17) then the TRU price would've been expired. So, I got the guitar hero for wii for my son who will be 10 on March 9th at best buy for the TRU price of $69.99. I don't know who best buy thought they were dealing with. LOL Go me!!!!!!
  8. When I went to Wally World, they didn't have in what I wanted to purchase. The display was in the case with the "new lower price" but no items in stock. I spoke with the electronics manager, Sara, who looked it up on the computer and told me that 96 of this item were coming in and to either come back at night (this past Sunday) or the next morning (Monday). Being that I have a new baby (10 weeks old tomorrow) I chose to go back on Monday morning only to be told that "we are not going to sell you that item. We have them in the back but are saving them for Friday." I didn't care if it was going to be cheaper or not. I wanted to purchase 2 of them and can't wait in the cold this year with a 10 week old baby. And more importantly, saving $40.00 on each is not worth standing in the cold freezing my rump off. It would be different if I was saving $400.00 on each but not $40.00 with a 10 week old. Needless to say, I called corporate and filed a complaint. I even notified the local news channel. I love how the recording at Wal-Mart corporate says, "Wal-Mart values our customers." The district manager, Wayne, called me yesterday (Tuesday) to apologize for Sara giving me wrong information. That was unacceptable especially since I was told to come back and the price of gas is way too expensive to be wasted. Wayne told me that Sara was new and shouldn't have told me what she did. I told Wayne, "Wal-Mart doesn't value $hit." I ended up going to Target and spending more money on a different brand but to me, the customer service is worth the extra money. Just my 2 cents. I'm hoping that "Black Friday" ends up being "Red Friday" for Wally World.
