if you have a boscovs in your area they still have LAW and do not charge a fee

i am from PA and i know there are a bunch in our state but i am not sure how many other states have them - you can get most of the same types of stuff that JCPenneys carries at better prices and they always have coupons and 30-50% off and they also have really large home furnishings, electronics, home appliance and toys departments. AND they have a phenomenal selection of seasonal decorations for christmas, halloween, easter, etc. I love Boscovs!

- i agree if there is something you really need to have for Christmas morning, buy it now and if you find it cheaper or a better deal (bundled) on BF then just return the one you bought b4 BF. Don't wait if it is a must have b/c you may not be able to find it after the sales start and you will be sweating it trying to get your hands on it b4 Christmas

Doesn't anyone else out there have a Boscov's store in their area? Our Boscov's is awesome and you can get all the name brand stuff you want and they also offer great % off coupons, huge discounts on toys and free stuff with your purchases. Just wondering why no one is talking about them...???

it would be really great if best buy and/or circuit city would open a few hours b4 walmart so i could shop both of them and then head to wally world - i know last year sears opened at 4 am which was pretty convenient and it thinned out some of the wal mart shoppers

i worked at walmart about 5 years ago and saw 2 older ladies in their 60's go at it over a $40 vcr - they got arrested and this old guy stole it from both of them while they were busy beating the sh*t out of each other:D

find a friend who has experience, talk to the people in front of and behind you in line for tips and read the ads thoroughly - make sure you check the fine print for number available and whether the price is before or after rebates and if the rebates are instant or mail in - it makes a big difference especially on the big ticket items

the best plan is to take more than one person with you. if you are shopping at walmart have one person get a cart and stay put and the other people spread out and wait for the pallets to be opened with what you are looking for. the person with the cart just stands still and protects what is in the cart and you can run freely without all of the hassle of trying to get through tight and crowded spaces with a cart. also use the side aisles to squeak through the more crowded sections. people will let you through and it is much quicker.

All of you pregnant ladies plan ahead - go for breakfast at Denny's or an all night place b4 u go out and make sure you are careful about pushing shopping carts 'specially at wally world. people get really pushy and the carts can cause some nasty bumps and bruises and wouldn't be good for a baby bearing belly - pregnant ladies don't bother me, people who bring babies or little kids along are completely nuts!

Do you think the cheap computers will include cd burners? i am also looking for one for the kids but they are 9 and 12 and are really into burning cds. also, are they good for playing games

You have to watch price matching at walmart. they will only do it if the other store is within 30 miles. the closest best buy to my local walmart is 47 miles away so they wouldn't match any of the prices - it was the same thing with price matching target and kmart. this year i am going to drive the 47 miles to the other town that has the stores i want

I have shopped TRU three times in twelve years on BF - main reason - thier checkout lines suck and their cashiers are slow. I went to wal mart first and spent 45 minutes there - when i went to TRU i was in line for 2.5 hours b/c they had a special version of barbie that my daughter had to have. If you are in a hurry avoid TRU - make it your last stop and see what they have left
